App permissions

Mopar® Owner's Companion 2.0.44 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ Broken! For some reason everytime I try to sign in the app crashes!

2 ★ This app frequently won't allow me to sign in. That makes it pretty much useless.

2 ★ Looks slick, functionally does not deliver on that. Broken features that have not been addressed for a really long time. Ability to edit some fields is not working, why would I want to keep a car on the app that I sold off years ago?

1 ★ App seems mostly useless, maintenance schedule broken, says see manual, so I clicked manual, nope, it's broken too. My vehicle is only 12 years old, so no reason to not have the manual handy. This app makes it more difficult to be a Mopar fan. Edit: absolutely no response from support, and subsequent updates are more broken than before. Now it's trying to force me to go to a different dealer and refuses to even show the one that is 2 miles away from me. And the voice-to-text is also busticated.

1 ★ Still Not able to check maintenance schedule for over a year now. Not good for checking up on your vehicle, and keeping things running, is it??? Update: App has gone from some things not functioning, to it itself not functioning upon opening. 6 months of problems getting worse, and worse. My suggestion: FIRE your apps team lead, get someone in there who can fix this. This is unacceptable in today's economy of connected vehicles.

1 ★ Like most other reviews, same problem with app crashing and not opening. Some of these reviews are from last year so I'm assuming that the developer and Chrysler LLC are no longer supporting this app.

1 ★ This app doesn't keep track of my vehicle records accurate and even deleted information after I manually inputted it. Needs major software design overhaul!

1 ★ Seriously get your act together. Apps that crash before you can even login are a sign of bad devs or bad management.

1 ★ *update* this app still doesn't work after months. Same error. The app keeps saying there was an error sending your information and won't ever let me log in

1 ★ Used to be broken info before. Now...it won't even open. Thanks for nothing.

1 ★ Doesnt even work. Crashes everytime I try to open it, despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Save thing occurs wth the ram box app as well.
