Description
JSMol is a viewer for chemical structures in three dimensions.
JSMol is developed in JavaScript and is open source.
Examples of molecules are shown:
- Polar and nonpolar covalent molecular substances.
- Ionic crystal structures of networks, atomic and covalent metal.
- Polymers.
- Compounds of carbon chemistry grouped into functional groups in table form and in a gallery.
The APP is completed by:
- A test exercise Reconnaissance type of molecules in 3D.
- A presentation with an introduction to chemical bonding
- A study of geometry and properties of simple molecular covalent molecules according to the theories of covalent bond:
- Structure of Lewis.
- Geometry VSEPR by model (VSEPR).
- Polarity.
- Type hybrid orbitals involved.
- Orbital formed by overlapping links.
- Type most important intermolecular forces.
