AWS re:Invent 2.0.4 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

3 ★ bo ability for people to share their schedule with you to see in the mobile app is brutal. Additionally there is a horrible bug where events are cached with their status for I dont know how long but when you open an event after filtering by open seats will show the reserve seat button but when you hit it it will just hang there forever. Hiting for back then back into the event will show its now filled. just a bad ux. frustrating!!!

3 ★ once you figure it out, it works ok. reservation system works well. NEEDS hour level filtering though. firehose of information, and when filtering you lose events you know should exist. NEED exclude capability (never want to see this item again, so i dont keep having to refilter it out). search doesnt work.... see items that dont match and visa versa. filter looks like it works. couldnt find basic food information (stressful 1st day as result)

2 ★ Not the worst experience ever but not great. Seems to lack a local cache for when conference and hotel WiFi are inevitably spotty. This can cause issues when you most need the app. Secondly I got kicked back to the login page a bunch of times after receiving push notifications that were supposed to be disabled.

1 ★ New sessions announced dont show up, now during conference sign I'm is broke and my schedule is on it. At least let us export to our own calendar, Google, so we know what session we are signed up for next!

3 ★ I think you might need to look at some network issues, and some stability problems. Seems like the app can't cope with changing network conditions without a full relaunch.

1 ★ I really wish it was easier to find sessions and sign up for them. Not nearly as easy to use as other conference apps I've used.

1 ★ If I don't change my schedule cache the stupid results so I don't have to keep pulling new schedules on a congested network. I almost missed sessions because I can't figure out where to go next because the app is dumb!

2 ★ For such a big conference. It is shocking that they have such a terrible app. Conatantly losing current state. Constantly presenting action needed notifications, usually to review a session, but they are all done. I would have expected far far better from aws.

4 ★ Great app for keeping track of all the goings on at the conference. Would be nice if the maps were more helpful and less generic. I'm going to room F, point it out on the map.

3 ★ The app is confusing when it comes to planning events, as it's not clear what has reserved seats, how many there are or how many open. Also important information like you need some magical ticket in for the walk line is not provided. Also something like required tickets, laptops, etc are not spelled out or tacked to the end of the description rather nonchalantly. And where is the schedule for the swag store and other useful information. For my first time use and attendance, it does bode well

2 ★ The app is functionally pretty good, but why on Earth is it FULLY a webapp wrapper? 99% of the data it polls will NEVER change. The planner at the very least should be available offline. It's like the people who developed it have never walked around the strip at all with a cellphone, spotty coverage at the best of times means everywhere other than actually in a session you're stuck with a forever spinning screen.

4 ★ Pretty useful. (However it took me a while to find the venue floorplans - wasn't at all clear that the building shapes on the campus map were "hotspots")

2 ★ Very buggy, have to force close to get data refreshes at times. An embarrassing app for a software conference.

4 ★ Works ok. Some courses seem to show invalid data. Notifications and reminders or calendar integration would be a huge plus.

5 ★ has consistently logged me out after an hour or two. terrible design and made the conference a lot worse
