4 ★ This is a very feature packed app. I love it. It has a lot of potential, however there are a few issues. Album art doesn't populate the decks properly for tracks in the automix list and spinning tracks from SoundCloud eventually leads to the app crashing. There is also a noticeable popping sound when adjusting the tempo with keylock enabled. If it weren't for these bugs I would give this app five stars. Hopefully the developers can sort this out soon. I have sent bug reports.

3 ★ I really want to like this app, but it has some issues. For example cueing doesn't seem to be able to be set at any point I want it, often it's a fraction off. Sync seems off by a fraction most of the time, which is extremely annoying as it needs constant adjustments, it doesn't seem to beatmatch correctly, songs are randomly assigned photos from my photo album as covers making no sense whatsoever.

1 ★ Software is old. Last updated in 2020!!... Support was contacted multiple times. Automix is a GREAT, with 16-beat matching it's AMAZING! But random software issues make me crazy. Reinstalling software sometimes helps. Specifically, regardless of settings, during automix, on Galaxy S10e, it glitches at the exact moment when the next song is loaded onto the upcoming (non-playing deck). Then everyone looks at you and you have to make a joke about beta quality software glitches. Classy.

4 ★ After doing a bit of research, i chose cross dj as my back up system, just in case my macbook pro running tracktor went down. So far it's been easy to use with an intuitive layout and functionality. Like other reviews, while practicing, i have heard some crackling in the audio, so that's worrisome. Also know that you'll need another app to transfer files from your mac to android. I went with Macdroid...$21 a year sucks but it works.

2 ★ Been a user in the past 3 years. It's a fine app when it works, can really be fun little dj tool to play in flights or small parties but recent versions are deteriorating - sound quality is really low in the post three versions, and despite going from a Note 4 to S8 to S9 to S10, performance wise the app peaked on the S8 and since than it's laggy and slow. Would love it to work like it should, it's a great tool, please make it work well.

4 ★ This is pretty great! Very user friendly and despite requiring you to teach yourself , it's got a lot of useful features! I'm having an issue where the Brake FX does NOT like my phone 🤣(I'm running 6gb RAM on a AGM h5 pro) use of it 2 or 3 times forces the app to close and erase your work. but other than that little hiccup this is some pocket turn tables/drum pads for fellow music makers and I love what you got going here!

1 ★ You can't access other user's SoundCloud playlists. So if you found a playlist that you like, the only way to use it in this app would be to save the tracks ONE BY ONE to your own SoundCloud playlist. That's insane. Viewing other user's playlists is a core feature of SoundCloud and it seems like the Cross DJ developers left the feature out for no reason. :(

5 ★ This software is by far hands down, the best mobile mixing / DJ app that you can find out there. However I am curious why there is no option for HIGH QUALITY or HQ recording, as the high quality option here maxes out at 256kps lossy compression. If you plan on creating a mix on the fly and only have your phone to do it on, you want your complication mix to be at the highest possible quality setting like LEGECY OR LOSSLESS. I am concerned and have always been as to why it's not this way here???

5 ★ Hands down the best DJ application on the market. I have quite literally run entire shows from this app. The ability to EQ sound is imperative for any good DJ, and alongside chaos pad style live effects, Cross has it all. The option to load tracks straight from SoundCloud is a phenomenal tool for the digital age DJ, so thank you devs for that. Bravo! 5 stars!

3 ★ Until SoundCloud started charging it was an awesome way to play out or in private. Tried using this on my revvl4+ but the sound quality makes it impossible to mix and enjoy. A couple pops and clicks can be expected when mixing digital music but it is unusable on the revvl4+. Trying on my Alcatel 7. We'll see. I tried it on the Alcatel 7 and i cannot get thru 1 bar without it cracking stopping and popping. Horrible app guys. I know the industry is in some dumb money grab bu seriously this crazy.

1 ★ 2 years later, still bugs not fixed.... Time to move on.... This app has great potential but it has too many issues like random mp3 files not being recognized. Cross just doesn't see them. Mp3 files that are no different than others and that play just fine in my music player and on all other devices including in Cross DJ Pro for Windows. Then the issue of sync mode switching from 16 to 4 beats when rotating the screen, Recently switched device with same problems. No support or reactions sad.

4 ★ As a mixing app it does the job but unfortunately SoundCloud library is not fully available and it nullifies the concept for me. Half of my playlists are empty. Even if I make another playlist specially for the app it will not be loaded. I understand there might be a limitation from SoundCloud API (known to be a pain to use no matter if you pay for it or not) but it still could be nice to have some choice over which playlists could be loaded. Thanks for making a good app for mixing though!

5 ★ Simple look for an efficient app! Unfortunately, I have recently experienced some problems with the streaming part of the app. For some reasons, some of my last playlist on Sound Cloud are not available. I mean by that, that although it finds the playlist, it says that there is 0 tracks or songs in the playlist. I have checked with an other dj app that allows streaming and it works as it should. It's a shame as I have to use other apps I like less for that reason.

1 ★ Fix these and I'll change my review: 1) Playlist management. You don't allow to select the whole folder to be added to a playlist. You don't allow to select all songs after applying a filter so I can add all the songs in one go. 2) Songs library. You don't allow to select a folder as the origin of the songs library. Currently the app scans my entire phone and shows songs that I don't want to include in my library. 3) Songs analyzer. Currently when the app is in background the song analysis stops

4 ★ Simple yet powerful interface. One of the best DJ apps I've tried. Only gripe is, and the reason for 4 out of 5 stars, that it's beat detection will become out of sync soon after using memory intensive FX like reverb and delay. I'd recommend this fun app to anyone.
