5 ★ I've been using this app for a number of years mainly to create my weekly newsletter for my art group and it is reliable and easy to use. Just like the full size Word. The only really annoying thing is the way the screen always adjusts size and you have to recorrect how big or small you want it and the need to remember to move up or down on the left side of the screen or you activate the inbuilt mover and it is faster than you are. But the basics of building a document are all there. Enjoy.
2 ★ Great app for work and school, but I have a consistent problem: the app does not sync with the computer version of Word, which I constantly use back and forth for school. I use the computer program at home, and the app on the go, and syncing up documents really needs improvement!
1 ★ I am totally lost! Trying to put my text into colums, I googled how to do that, and it said to use the layout tab. WHERE THE HELL IS THE LAYOUT TAB? In fact, I look at screenshots and my Word app has nothing like that all all. I was able to save a text, that's all, but there is no option to arrange it. Do I have the wrong version of this app?
4 ★ Well, it's a nice productive app but it gliches and deletes my work which totally reduces it's productivity. Imagine working on a proposal for days and finally, you've gotten it down the way you want it to be and you've saved it. And when you return to it in a couple of hours, it tells you it has been deleted moved or renamed. Why?!
5 ★ Work wherever and whenever you want. At the beginning I was a bit uncertain and sceptical about the UI/UX, but as time passed I grew increasingly pleased with the interface and ease of use to make edits and reviews. Proofing is useful and up to par in comparison to the full version of the app, evidently styling and formatting tools are limited but suffice to compose and correct small documents and notes. Awesome offering for a productive app on the go! Kudos Microsoft
1 ★ The app does not work well on a HP Chromebook, it freezes often and can go completely blank whilst I'm still typing. I've lost work this way before and had to use OneDrive instead, autosave does not work on the app unless you manually go to 'Save As' and save and replace the document. Sometimes saved documents can show up blank when they've been opened and there doesn't seem to be a way to recover these documents. You're completely stuck if the screen goes blank as the whole app also freezes.
3 ★ Already annoying! I just downloaded the app. Commenced to typing a document in Spanish and the proofing language keeps reverting back to Arabic. Even though I have changed the language over and over, it shows error marks because it's proofing in Arabic. While the features are better than the iPad version, it's of no use if the app doesn't function as needed. 3 stars for now because maybe I need to play around with it a bit more.
5 ★ The fact that it behaves like the conventional type on PC made me fall in love with this app. Unlike notepads, you could undo a mistake, save your work as PDF for easy sharing, highlight, bold and change font type and character - something I thought I could only do on a PC. All in all, this app is amazing!
5 ★ So far, thus app has been very a useful tool for me. I don't use it as often as most people do, but when I do, it does everything I need to file my reports or documents I use. Nothing to fix or change in my end. Outstanding job, thank you, I really needed this app.
5 ★ Dark Mode is BEST. Thanks so much. I used to work on laptop in night. But now, I can enjoy this dark-side in my phone. This is more comfortable when you you write your articles at night. 1 ★ I had good internet connection and the app kept getting unlinked from my OneDrive account and I lost all progress on my research paper. I can't believe that this stupid app can't do one job. Google docs is better at keeping everything in a cloud and getting access through different devices. If you would like to save your documents properly please find yourself another app.
5 ★ Word is a good app and there is nothing to say more about this incredible app, which is being used by all people since childhood, although the pc version is different.But the mobile version is also good enough.Moreover,personally fell that there is a need of the dark mode and an interface similar to the pc one would make it more cool and better. So I would be glad if Microsoft developers take my words. Thank you 😊...
1 ★ Basic Features not available. Can't use on HP Chromebook. Will not let you highlight text using a mouse. No icons/illustrations available. No Word Art available. Incredibly difficult to use. Can't even click and choose where you want to start typing. Absolutely ridiculous that this app is not made to the same quality for an android device. This is making uni a nightmare as the chromebook is all I have. Can't rely on this app to write assignments or even manipulate a simple picture. Awful.
5 ★ It is a very interesting app I open this every time when I need to make document and PDF file I have deleted some apps to download itit's safe manner font font colours and manage space to write and also the rename. It is safe automatically when I exit. I give them 5 out of 5 star. It is amazing app it don't need to upgrade this app. Even more apps like Microsoft word.
3 ★ I have been facing issues with the numbering. Somehow when I type 1. and enter it will automatically add 2... Well this works well not until #10. When it reaches #10 , the automatically added 10. has like 25 spaces after it. Fix this and I'll give 5 stars. It's been an issue for quite some time.
