1 ★ This app is so slow to start calls. Takes minutes sometimes to get onto a conference call. The chat feature has chats disappear after minutes of being in them so you miss people's responses and lose discussions regularly throughout the day. It drops you from calls. It's in need of so much love and attention and is extremely frustrating to use on a daily basis. Use Teams instead!
1 ★ Skype is running really so damn slow in android. For example just for scroll down contacts skype is struggling and hangs. I have realme xt 8GB Ram and 128 GB Variant, with Snapdragon712 octacore. I have tested with my friends they are also experienced the same issue. Make it smooth like whatsapp or some other messenger...
1 ★ Bad experience in general. This app has a lot of bugs. When I receive a notification from a new conversation and I click on it, the chat box appears to be empty (when it showed part of the message on the notification) so I ALWAYS have to ask the person who messaged me first to repeat what he/she said. This is really annoying on a business environment.
2 ★ Works pretty well, when it works. I got this app for work calls. However, it's routinely a struggle to stay connected to meetings especially is the signal is even slightly low. It's a good concept however, the idea would be that it is a mobile app so would be capable of functioning out in the wild (i.e. not your office) but seems it is only consistent when you're in excellent signal areas. The chat that comes through to the app also is not displayed on your desktop so messages can be missed
3 ★ 1. It's quite slow to load the contacts. 2. No Contacts Grouping feature. 3. Sometimes while calling it doesn't rings. 4. Call disconnects after 30 to 40 minutes. 5. Must show the upcoming meeting on top.
1 ★ Sounds is sub par. In Android, the text disappears entirely when you click on the notification. I've lost so many messages when someone tries to message me and it goes thru my app. Only when I have the app running on the computer that messages are sent to both that I do not lose my messages. That's a very critical bug for a messaging app.
3 ★ It's not as good as the Lync Browser add-on. I was using the Browser add-on on my laptop but when I went on vacay I left it home and just used my tablet. Skype for business doesn't let me see the presentation. Why, couldn't tell you. Never had a problem on the laptop with the Browser add-on. Other than that it works fine. Samsung Tab A.
1 ★ Still receive calls even when signed out and app uninstalled, and no the call forward feature is not to the mobile number, call forward is disabled, also the 'Simultaneously Ring' feature is disabled. So why am I still receiving Skype for Business calls to my personal mobile number. Badly designed app, they need to fix these features fast, I do not appreciate calls outside of my work hours.
3 ★ Good app.. needs little improvement for mobile devices. When some team member shares his / her desktop, mobile device view doesn't rotate (90° to use full width of display) to make a full screen view.. This causes zoom in with fingers and pan to read full screen documents. Please work on this feature so that screen content can also be rotated in full screen mode.
4 ★ All most all errors or issues with calls are user induced or poor wifi connection. Very few issues with the actual product. Overall great product. Biggest gripe is people who utilize speakers and have them turned up too loud causing feedback into their own microphone. Seems like there should be a tech solution to the echo. Echo is almost exclusively corrected when non-speaking parties go on mute.
1 ★ I had a Skype interview call and was supposed to join as a guest. It didn't work and it really was an embarrassing experience for me. Also, in help section there are not steps or details given for 'how to join the Skype call as a guest.
5 ★ Skype for biz is ok. Download is quick & easy, connection is simple & easy to navigate. Word to the wise. Your own mic & camera are off as default every time I expect this is to avoid any unfortunate events, just click cam & mic icons at bottom of screen to enable. Tip set volume from settings or on your device to avoid being shouted at & align face in frame in advance of starting. Headphones with mic allow for at least one way privacy & better sound quality equipment dependant. Overall good app
2 ★ My previous review, I gave 4 stars. Off late, it has become worst with each of the latest updates. Call gets dropped too often, voice breaks at both ends even after very good connection. It always says unable to connect to the server.. Developers need to seriously take this up and fix all the issues without any delays..
1 ★ Since last update. I cannot login anymore. I have an error message: we cannot connect to the server,check if you are using wifi or hotspot and disable it. ... Even I'm not using wifi nor hotspot. I uninstall and reinstall the app a couple time,but still the same issue .
3 ★ While receiving a message, i can see text line only in notification drop-down, but it disappears when i click to open the app. This is becoming very irritating, as i have to ask sender to resend/retype it. Sometimes, user is offline by that time, making me miss important messages. Need urgent help.
