Download the latest Supersense - AI for Blind application, version 1.4.19, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Maps & Navigation app is developed by Mediate Labs and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 1.4.19, 1.4.13, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
Supersense uses the power of AI to not only describe things but actually solve problems for blind and visually impaired users. Users can independently:
- Read texts, documents and handwriting quickly using our unique auto camera guidance system
- Locate specific objects such as a chair, door, trashcan, or person around by scanning the environment with the camera
- Explore new and unfamiliar environments and hear about the objects that are around
- Read texts on photos and PDFs from other apps. Simply share the files to Supersense and it will read it for you in seconds.
Every single feature works without an internet connection so that they can be used in any situation.
The app has full TalkBack accessibility support and is available in multiple languages.
Supersense is developed by Mediate, an MIT-spinoff AI start-up based in Boston. Mediate develops innovative computer vision systems with the support of the National Science Foundation and the US Department of Veterans Affairs. This app is just the first step in our mission to develop groundbreaking AI solutions for people with visual disabilities. We have developed the app with principles of human-centered design and with the assistance of blind and visually impaired users. We also partnered with many organizations that help the blind and low vision community.

Supersense - AI for Blind 1.4.19 APK requires following permissions:

4 ★ Well it reads well other than the fact that I was kicked out of it two or three times and the dog if it has if it had something in there where it tells you whether you're reading it sideways or upside down that'll be that that'll be really great too and the options I don't let it reads really well and it's worth paying for optional supercenter
5 ★ I highly recommend this app it has been a huge help with my getting used to my vision loss It is very easy to use
4 ★ It doesn't recognize columns The speed is much faster than the voice assist speed and you need to slow voice assist speed down

1 ★ Wanted my email address straight up. No mention of any privacy policy, just give us your email address. Cannot trust that.

5 ★ Supersense is a really nice app that helps locate objects in my environment. It has helped me find my trashcan as well as a door in a basement in pitch-black conditions. I think the AI does a good job to find and identify objects as I was able to use the application in an environment where I didn't have cell or internet service. I look forward to the progress and improvement of this application.
5 ★ This app is great, I'm so happy I found it. I would describe it as a must have for anyone with a visual impairment who struggles with things like reading. The latest update where you can now ask it to read the text from an image on your phone is brilliant, but the cherry on top of the cake would be if you could share images directly from social media posts, instead of having to save them to your device first
3 ★ It's accessible! But it's lyer to get the information, we don't have a dog but still told us there is a dog in the house. Also told us aeroplane, but we don't have any aeroplane near by!! We have tested with android, and Tablets) we got sames lying!! Even if we point the camera too the person is not recognising exactly, some time for girls said a boys and same if we point for a boy told us a girl) it's so much funny things!! I think the development they don't have a real visually impaired person
1 ★ The AI reads way to fast. How am I supposed to understand what it is saying. I'm using it because I have dyslexia and can not read my text books. Unfortunately this app is so horrible that I'd rather suffer through reading my book even tho I won't understand most of it and will most likely take 11 hours to read a couple pages.
2 ★ This is a useful app but there is little that distinguishes this app from EyeDPro and Envision AI which also perform similar tasks. Unlike on IOS, the Android version could leverage some more of the operating system's capabilities, such as being able to run as a service in order to describe photos automatically in the photo gallery or anywhere where graphics appear.
3 ★ Well 1st i think its a brilliant app but should be free and not have to pay because being blind sucks and yes i know you get the free bit still..that is why not more stars. 2nd it thinks my 3 year old American Akita and husky are cats😁 could be quite funny if someone was looking for a cat and goes to pick my akita up😁😁i don't mean in a nasty way I just mean they will get a shock when they go to pick him up and realise how heavy he is compared to a cat🤣🤣.
2 ★ Well, it read one piece of black printed text on white background and pretty much nothing else. Didn't recognise a door or a chair I was pointing the camera at. Not really useful for practical purposes. Lucky for this app, none of the competition is any better.
