View-Master®: National Geographic Wildlife takes you on safari in three of the world’s most famous spots -- virtually! Walk on the wild side with kangaroos and koalas in the Australian Outback, sloths and jaguars in the Amazon and native animals on the African Savanna.
Go deeper into a scene, exploring the panorama, playing adventure photographer games or learning new facts through videos, photos and notes from National Geographic’s vast archives.
Launch yourself into stunning 360-degree views that completely surround you. Look up, look down, look around -- everywhere you turn, there is something to see because you are “virtually” standing within the environment!
This experience pack was designed to work best with the View-Master® Virtual Reality Viewer (sold separately) that Works With Google Cardboard. 1 ★ It doesn't load. It seems like it just needs a few bugs worked out but it's a very frustrating experience when we already have all the wheels and and it just won't load. Please fix this quickly.
1 ★ Doesn't work. Just get a black screen as many others report. I have the goggles, s6 phone and carboard downloaded. All other apps and reels I have work fine. This one does not. Returning product and Uninstalling app.
1 ★ Bought the reels, got this app. Worked about 3-4x and now it's useless. Mattel hasn't replied at all.
2 ★ I am getting similar problems to other users (i.e. black screen with music). I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling and it worked for about 10 mins before going to black screen. Is there going to be a software fix for this?
2 ★ Mattel, very poor QA. shame on you. Every other VR game or experience I've downloaded has been fine except this App. Downloaded this to my HTC One M7. Don't bother to tell it you have Reels. When I did the App took over 5 minutes to load after getting past the menu screen. Seriously. No exaggeration. I thought it crashed the first 2 times I launched it because it was a black screen (the Setup button was working but nothing else during that time). I left it on while trying to find info on their website, where there is NO Customer Service contact by the way. Then I noticed a light in the viewer asking to point at a Reel. Next tried the NO Reel option (the Reel's AR "interface" was lame anyway). The App takes only about a minute to load this time. When I got it got past the crazy long load, and we got to "play" in one of the eco environments it worked as expected. As an educational experience it's only Meh. Google's Arctic demo was much more engaging. My kids gave up on this after about a minute and went back to playing Minecraft.
1 ★ On all devices we've tried it gets stuck on the camera screen. Takes pass card, says put in viewer and then flickers on off and won't load!!!!
1 ★ Dont waste your time or money. Terrible setup process.
5 ★ It's awesome. It works perfectly fine. You just need to point you camera at one of the yellow squares and wait till it says 5,4,3,2,1
1 ★ Doesn't work. After prompting me to put my phone in the viewmaster viewer and clicking the lever, screen just turns black. I bought the reels too.
1 ★ One of the most frustrating and lame things I've ever used. The Viewmaster cardboard viewer and accompanying apps...should be avoided.
