Description
The Trenitalia App makes it simpler to plan your journeys. Purchase season tickets, carnets and other tickets for Frecce, Intercity, Regional, EC and EN trains in just a few clicks, as well as your tickets for Busitalia buses in Umbria and Veneto!
Use geolocation and the Quick Purchase function to buy your tickets without delay. Pay however you like from among the many payment methods available (Credit Cards, Paypal, Google Pay, Satispay, Amazon Pay or bank transfer) or use your CartaFRECCIA/X-GO points, Bonuses, Credits or Gift Cards.
Manage your journey directly from the Home Page, check all information on the status of the train, and check in to confirm your presence on board. Simultaneously manage your Business profile alongside your personal one, by switching easily between them!
NEW: What’s more, from 30 June you can plan your journey from the first mile to the last directly from the Home Page, by entering your departure and arrival addresses! Where available, you will be shown travel solutions with multiple means of transport.

1 ★ The account registered on the website doesn't seem to work on the app. No reason to use it, since that would mean losing all my cashback points
1 ★ Ora di tornare ai biglietti cartacei; il check in tramite app e relativo user journey è pura confusione, specialmente visto che raramente i treni rispettano gli orari, ma al check in non importa. Se dico che lo use journey fa schifo, la normativa non c'entra. È l'app che è pessima. E anche la password che scade (!) e deve contenere caratteri speciali ma non troppo (!!).

1 ★ Such a shame. Imagine being in the station, checking which one is your train but noone in the departure list is yours. Imagine asking everyone in the station and finding out the app is actually showing the WRONG train code. Ridiculous. The app must be able to do few things, and even those one are malfunctioning. How the hell can Trenitalia app be in production showing wrong train codes in multi-train journeys? Have you even tested it before releasing?
