By downloading the app, you agree (i) to receive communications from Lyft, including push notifications; and (ii) to allow Lyft to collect your device's language settings. You can opt out of receiving push notifications through your device settings.

If Upfront Pay is not available in your city, then you will be paid for each minute and mile of the trips you complete, based on your city’s per-minute and per-mile rates. 3 ★ They are not transparent like they used to be. Used to only take 20-25% cut of whatever they charged the customer. Now it's exceeding 30%+ and no longer allow you to see these charges. The bonuses they give you is just your money being given back to you, but you have to give more rides to get back what you should have already been paid. I used to really value the business motto and ethics, but seems that the companies creed has changed for the worst....which is greed.
1 ★ Terrible! So many bugs & glitches. Driver on/off line button not accessible. Why is it hidden & I have no control to make it visible all the time?! Why is the sound for next passenger in que so damn loud? Where is the rate the customer feature after the ride? How come after 1hr using the app it looses network connection & struggles to provide route & directions? I have to open my Google maps just to keep it moving. Lame
1 ★ Right now. Disappointed with Lyft. I've been a driver for a while now and my app continues to malfunction during navigation. When I emailed customer service each rep stated to uninstall and reinstall. That worked once and it hasn't worked since. Using Google maps sucks you have to switch back and forth just to make sure you're sent to the exact location.
1 ★ The navigation button has stopped working and I can't get help to fix the problem. I contacted customer support through email and after several emails back and forth I was informed the problem is NOT the app but mine. According to what I have been reading I am not the only one having the navigation issue. I will use the gps system in my car to get to the correct location, but have stopped driving as much as I was because it's difficult to make the changes when Lyft changes location on me.
1 ★ The app keeps crashing ever since I updated it. The maps don't work in the app. When trying to notify the passenger it freezes then cancels the ride. Lyft turned around and blamed me. I got tons of screen shots showing it was the app. I even went to T-Mobile to make sure. They stated it's the app. They need to correct the update. Its screwing up rides.
5 ★ This app does everything I need it to do and more. I can't recall the last issue I had with connection problem or crash that I see all the other reviews. I never expirrence these problems and to me this app is very simplified that after using it a few weeks and simple to read and make any preference changes. The times I remember with the crash. Lock up etc I think was mostly caused by user inexperience. I know alit was with me. Good job
3 ★ Google GPS, off course or track just a bite, Right side & Lift side confusse..no way to ajust time to accommodate current drop off (i.e luggage, groceries. medical supplies.). Once Lyft adds a new ride or someone to your que..that are allowed to phone or txt the Lyft driver while driving to pick up or drop-off their 'current passengers...The problem or isuues is the drivers GPS MAP..IS REDUCE to phone screen or Lyft txt ...while the added custome call ask how log, or when your coming...often
1 ★ be canned. The app was workable enough but now functionally unusable. Half the screen is blocked and I cannot simply click. I have to now slide while driving. Do you realize how distracting a few extra seconds are when driving. I barely even use Lyft these days because of the freaking app!! Don't force me call if customer does not show up especially when i have already texted. Get updated maps.
1 ★ Always something wrong with it. Connectivity issues. Won't sync up with GPS properly and today it did not calculate my streak correctly so I didn't get the extra money even though I did the rides and lets not talk about driver support. All you can do is text them and all you are going to get is a textbook response and no actual help because they are basing their responses on this jacked up app.
3 ★ I wish the app would auto rotate because my thing that is for my holder for my phone is sideways and it is the only thing that does not auto rotate the other thing I had happened to me is going down Chisholm trail which is tall of course going to cleburne which is 30 miles down the road a wheel all of a sudden comes flying going 70 miles an hour off of an 18-wheeler and hit my truck and get a lot of damage to it and anyway I guess I have to pay for that
2 ★ In the past this would have been 4 or even 5 stars, but with the most recent update it has dropped to 2. Getting rid of the blue guide is incredibly dangerous - and unnecessary- particularly in traffic or unfamiliar areas. After this I have to seriously consider whether driving for Lyft is still safe.
1 ★ Horrible redesign! Why can't they keep the app simple? I drive for Lyft instead of Uber because Lyft's app wasn't cumbersome. Now they keep implementing unnecessary animations and extra clicks and swipes to accomplish things that were fine the way they were. And with these latest "upgrades", all I see is "Poor network connectivity" all day long and passengers can't see that I'm heading their way while this is going on!
1 ★ Terrible company to work for. No transparency on surge pricing, fewer people tip because their paying so much of which the driver gets nothing. No driver support, no option to shut off airport fares even though they haven't sent me the required "lyft" sign. Have driven rides where I pay more in tolls on my way to pick the passenger up then I get for the ride. No transparency on where you are driving or how long the ride will take until you pick up passenger. Overall horrible company
2 ★ Needs LOTS of work. Dropouts, lost rides, bait and switch customers, starts in bad navigation mode, comm errors which produce wrong fares (always to my negative!). Inability to see scheduled pick-up info (flashes for a brief unintelligible second). Uber is FAR superior in driver interface.
1 ★ I'm really disappointed with this app is giving me an poor network connection, when my phone is 5g and I have full bar, but it keep saying that I have a poor nerve connection and there is time that can't even arrive to the customer address pickup point to start the trip, it keep loading.
