Zello uses proprietary low-latency push-to-talk protocol and is not interoperable with Voxer, Sprint Direct Connect or AT&T Enhanced PTT. Zello Android client supports free public service, ZelloWork cloud service, and private Zello Enterprise Server.

1 ★ I deleted my one star rating because I wanted to replace it with another one star rating I used to love this app when it was simple it worked now it's convoluted and complicated and it doesn't work justifying multi hundreds of thousands of dollars for developers that fix problems. This app injects itself into my life I can have it off and it will make little noises and come on as if someone was trying to get a hold of me so I'll call them using the app and they'll say no and then the same thing

5 ★ Fun and useful app! Husband and I will use this app when on opposite sides of the house or outside. So helpful when needing to get a quick message to him vs texting or calling. So neat and all the functions are 5 star too.. Can't believe this is a free app!!
2 ★ Works when it wants to. The PTT button is hypersensitive regardless of the haptic feedback/sensitivity setting. I can't send messages because it records snippets for me and then calls them "empty messages." Will be deleting from phone soon.
5 ★ Pleased someone told me about this application. Its much more useful than expected. It just cuts through everything to send that message. Of course receiving a voice message instantly through the speaker is great too.
5 ★ Love it. Easy to use, group walkie chats and more. I used it driving from Massachusetts to South Carolina when we took several cars and each driver had it so we could easily talk without texting or calling. Great for ski trips and hiking too. Definitely recommend!
1 ★ I use this app as a scanner for fire and police. Used to be able to find channels but not anymore. Why can't I find channels? This needs fixed or I'm going to another app.
1 ★ Im not a fan since the removal of channel search. Being able to creaye and search for channela and groups was the apps only advantage over ALL THE OTHER messaging and communication apps. It's silly to think that this app will survive now that its greatest feature is now. Uninstalling !
5 ★ Great app! Deserves 5 stars but a suggestion that will help both zello and channel creators. Charge a small monthly or yearly fee and allow paid users to get on a trending list that's seen by all the zello community so they can properly grow their channels. This would benefit zello and the user. Thanks!
5 ★ I use this app with my son and quite a few friends. When my phone loses signal or im in a bad area this app works great and is very clear 5 stars....
4 ★ Reasonable walkie talkie app. If you happen to leave your phone open when you put it in your pocket it can change the multitude of adjustable complex parameters but that goes for all things on smartphones. I haven't used any other similar apps to compare.
5 ★ Great app for keeping up with the kids, especially if their phone is only hooked to WiFi.
5 ★ I've had app since 2014 and never had any problems once at work we had to use it because are radios were down and not to good when you're working on highway
