Lorex Ping 1.4.22 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to expand or collapse the status bar.

Allows an application to record audio.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to call killBackgroundProcesses(String].

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ App crashes on Moto G with Android marshmallow. "Unfortunately Lorex ping has stopped working" after splash screen. Only app on my phone that crashes... Totally glitchy. Too bad. The promises it makes sound good.

3 ★ Update: Bought 4 of these cameras and after 1 year, have worked most of the bugs out of it. Some days it stays connected, other days it says "offline." Unreliable, but mounted these so too much trouble to take off. Power outage, and have to re-connect. Works decent with wifi, but not very reliable with 4G. Field of vision limited for small rooms. Stable 2 way communication, motion, sound sensor. Video recording with SD is okay. System great when it works, but would not purchase more despite the cheap costs. Update: 10/17. Ripped out all 4 cameras and went with another brand. Got too tired resetting after wifi outage, power outage; unreliable.

2 ★ Works while phone ( note 4) is connected to home wi fi where camera is , but useless when using phones data ....cannot see, says "access denied"

4 ★ Please improve this app so I can see 16 cameras on one screen just like its software for PC. Other security cameras apps for android such as Amcrest, Revo... I can see 16+ cameras at the same time on the android phone.
