3 ★ I am very positive towards using the desktop version. My primary objective of using this mobile version is to be able to read my book on the move. The problem I faced is its seldom synced to the last page I read. A bit disappointed
5 ★ Great app, generous amount of free stuff, of which the proprietary Lexam stuff is fantastic, syncs with your computer, free book each month, I like the format better than Olive Tree, and the stuff I am interested in tends to be cheaper in Logos.(I picked up the out of print Revival Bible for $16.) Be sure to hunt for all the free stuff available and "purchase" it in the store so it is yours. Would be nice if your phone's back button took you back to the previous page instead of closing the app.
5 ★ For a free mobile application it's the single best bible resource I've used. The simple features that enable word searches, passage guides, multiple window options a long with free resources make this app the best I've used. There are some basics that could be improved such as the highlighting option. You need to tap 3× to finish highlighting a scripture or passage. You can't customise the text options that enable you to change the back round colour to any colour. Verse number colours .
1 ★ I like it and have used it for many years It is true that it is not always intuitive and it takes lot of effort to learn all the functionality and later I forget how to do it again. Any my biggest issue is that when I highlight on this app it doesn't appear on my desktop It does work the other way around but from app to desktop it doesn't It took me some time to find out actually so I probably lost a lot of highlighting and perhaps notes too Are you aware of this fault?
5 ★ Allows English speaking people to study in original languages -Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic without needing to learn those languages. Very efficient to prepare Bible studies for lay people to use. Not inexpensive, but well worth the investment. Bought Logos 3 and have upgraded to LOGOS 4, 5, 7, and 8. Never a mistake to try to understand more of God's word. Only one question matters: Who do you say Jesus is?
4 ★ I use this app for daily bible reading. I like the Lexham study bible; you can dig as deep as you want on any given passage or just use it to explain a difficult phrase. It seems to have many features but they aren't easy to learn just by exploring. This is a great undertaking to create an all-digital bible study tool.
4 ★ I think it's an amazing app for free users, for us who have paid logos, I disagree. I assumed a smooth transition between the PC paid and and to continue my work on the mobile when necessary but it doesn't work the same. Still an amazing app but when on my phone the only thing I reach for it is when comparing text or searching.
5 ★ HIGHLY recommend. So easy up reference scripture with just a few key words. Many translations available for free. Can highlight or add notes to any scripture. Also can link with friends or family and instantly see where they highlighted something. If you're serious about your walk and sanctification this is a must have in your arsenal!!
2 ★ Great Bible study tool when online. Almost useless as a stand-alone app. Whoever designed this to be internet dependent should think again. No app is truly mobile if it requires the internet which is why I downloaded my entire library to my tablet. I was really surprised when I was unable to navigate to Matthew 18:18, of an installed Bible, because I had no internet. So, no internet or if Christianity were banned, as in China, then all the tools you love would be gone! That should NOT be!
5 ★ This app is like having a Bible college in your pocket. Having access to such wonderful resources for free is a real privilege and blessing. Thank you. I only downloaded the app last week and already it has enriched my Bible study. I have shared the app with my friend and will pass it on to other believers who desire deeper study into God's Word. 5 ★ Logos is an excellent tool for studying God's word. From the most basic need of everyday communion with God to studying, teaching and preaching. You have so many scholarly choices at your fingertips.
5 ★ I've used several websites in my study of the Holy Bible. This is the best website by far. It has helped me to delve "deep" into the Word of God relying not on tradition nor church creed, but the Word alone. Praise God, and I am eternally grateful to Faithlife for Logos. Thank you for designing this software.
