2 ★ Not enough features in the app. Would be nice to have low battery notification and also be able to check battery level from the app.
1 ★ The unit won't do anything. No playback. No night vision. It tells me it's recorded movement though. Is there any way to get the old version from august 2020. That version was awsome!
2 ★ Time set is difficult because it doesn't give anything but GMT time zone. Also, I can't set the correct date. This app is not easy to navigate. I think I'd rather have the Ring doorbell as a nanny cam. Y'all got some work to do on this. I was truly looking forward to using this and I'll still use it and make do. But if anyone asks me about it, I'll tell them just what I said here!! Very disappointing😣
2 ★ No notification settings in app. if a recording is made it sends a message to the app but the app doesn't notify you via txt or phone notification, so its useless if you need to know at the time when motion is detected. Video cannot be downloaded. It appears you can share a video and it says the video is being dowloaded but I can't find it anywhere. Motion activated videos can only be up to 60 seconds in length. should be an option to record continuously for as long as movement detected.
4 ★ Very pleased, I was nervous about spending this much money on a hidden camera, but I'm glad I took the chance, the camera is clear, however, the angle is not quite as wide as I would like, Night Vision works great, set up was fairly easy, the only problems I had were with my own router, I reset it and everything connected wonderfully I have not had any disconnection issues at all
3 ★ I got YiEye Wall Clock Hidden Camera. The set up was a lil confusing. Once it was all setup, it was phenominal!!! I LOVED how the app sent me great motion detected movements. It doesn't tell difference between animals & people. It sent me crystal clear pictures. Once you have a problem, there is no way to contact any type of customer service to replace item, use warranty etc... I attempted to use the app to reset product to no avail.
3 ★ Hello! The app stops recording once I've moved out of the app. It records for up to 60 seconds when the motion detector is activated like its supposed to however if I wanted to have the app record when I can't watch the live feed, then shouldn't it keep recording ESPECIALLY since YiEye is constantly "running in the background" already??? I would be happy to change this to 5 stars if there was an update that included the option to "continuously record" even if navigated away from the app.
1 ★ Unreliable Randomly stops recording. Goes offline on its own. Creates record of recordings EVERY minute in an hour, i.e. 17:00:20,17:00:45 etc., but when I try to view it the spinning circle shows it's trying to connect and invariably says "failed to connect". I needed/wanted reliability but this item doesn't give me that.
2 ★ It doesn't hold charge for more then 48 hours] and it only records for 1 minute very disappointing. So keep in mind you'll have to take it down to charge it and it records for a minute but then at midnight you can no longer see the footage so if you want something recorded and saved you have to manually hit record but the defeats the purpose of having a surveillance camera not worth the money
4 ★ Great app. It works the best and most constantly than my 2 other spy cam apps. The reason I'm not giving it 5-stars is because there is no way to delete the recordings from the app and they really build up and they do not visually mark the recordings that you've already viewed.
1 ★ Can't link to camera unless app stays open and active with wifi on. Usless a far with no wifi. Even in home same issue unless wifi and app remains on. Charge only last 48 hrs if not less. You have to reset most of time to use. Basicly climbing up on a ladder every 2 days to charge and reconnect or reset. Its not the time for this product. My anti-spyware detect easedropping from this app out to a unknown server. It block out going information to " foreign based server" CAUTION
1 ★ Very unrelieable! Turns off. Stops recording. When I called the help number I left a message and call back number never received a call to help fix problem. I just wanted help to fix it so it would work! To no avail.
1 ★ It sucks, camera freezes all the the time when online. unable to play video, it keeps saying conecting, when it finally connects it freezes again. Video playback lacks fast-forward fastback options. Don't buy it. Too expensive.
1 ★ Took multiple resets and attepts to connect to the wifi (the router was 5 ft away). After 2 hours of attempting to set up, finally get into the user interface of the app and it says device is offline. Even though im staring at it plugged in with the red light blinking
2 ★ It's functional but needs major improvments. lacks basic functions like powering down your device, show the space left on SD card, more than 60 second record time among others. Wish this device used BVCAM, or gave me the option to use other apps.
