Description
Streaming performance may vary based on your client device and network setup. HDR requires an HDR10-capable device, a GPU that can encode HEVC Main 10, and HDR10-enabled game. Games that use DXGI/OS HDR also require an HDR display connected to your host PC.

Quick Setup Host Instructions for GeForce Experience (NVIDIA-only)
• Make sure GeForce Experience is open on your PC. Turn on GameStream in the SHIELD settings page.
• Tap on the PC in Moonlight and type the PIN on your PC
• Start streaming!
Quick Setup Host Instructions for Sunshine (all GPUs)
• Install Sunshine on your PC from https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine/releases
• Navigate to the Sunshine Web UI on your PC for first-time setup
• Tap on the PC in Moonlight and type the PIN in the Sunshine Web UI on your PC
• Start streaming!
To have a good experience, you need a mid to high-end wireless router with a good wireless connection to your Android device (5 GHz highly recommended) and a good connection from your PC to your router (Ethernet highly recommended).

5 ★ Moonlight as a whole is good. I can play PC games on almost any machine. Moonlight has a portable app for work pc's that wont let you install software. I wish there was a chrome extension though so I didn't have to use a portable app. I also sometimes have issues getting moonlight to work until I login to windows on the host machine on first boot. Can be a pain working remotely. The work around is using google chrome remote desktop to login to host PC.
5 ★ An awesome way to play your games away from home (or on different devices inside the home). The fact that it's multiplatform makes it even more useful.
5 ★ literally every combination of settings results in "bitrate too high" errors since last update over ethernet connection between pc and nvidia shield TV. also, it thinks my 4k samsung tv's native resolution is 720xsomething.
3 ★ Works OK as far as video is concerned but audio is shockingly bad. Full of crackling & popping. Devs only recommendation is to use old geforce experience which is a huge hassle when better streaming apps that don't do this exist.
3 ★ Unable to stream on mobile data all of a sudden, black screen after connecting to pc. It only works if I'm beside my pc. Is this a known issue?

5 ★ Would like to see a fit to screen option that would zoom in to remove black bars while cutting off part of the image. Games also not updating correctly even after uninstalling and reinstalling GFE and moonlight Works great. Devs have addressed every other issue I can think of so far. I don't think the devs can do anything to fix Android's system level mouse acceleration.
5 ★ Best game streaming app out there if you're using an Nvidia GPU. I even tested it using a 4G connection and man it's playable. To maximize the potential of this tech, I think having a mid/high end router wifi5/wifi6 is needed. I used a cat8 cable from my modem to the main router and PC to main router (I know it's an overkill). My phone supports 144hz and wifi 6 so gaming through the same network is just amazing. Kudos to the team of developers who made this possible.
4 ★ When are you going to fix the color banding, it's just too distracting. Is there a workaround ? Im using Android TV and streaming from PC GF experience app.
5 ★ RTSP handshake failed, error 500. Update: Thanks for reply, uninstalled gfe and installed 3.21 and now working. I did have experimental features enabled which updated to 3.22 so figured out it was gfe and not moonlight. Will try version 9.8.6. Thanks again. 5 stars excellent app and support.
