Description
This application is compatible only with LG Smart TVs which are released in 2012 or later. If you own a LG Smart TV released in 2011 or before, please use the “LG TV Remote 2011” application.
You can use LG TV Remote after pairing your TV and mobile devices through the same WiFi network.
The Mini TV feature might not be available for certain channels due to provision of contents under copy protection regulations.

- ON NOW: What's on right now that you might enjoy? On Now recommends programs suited to your personal tastes, based upon your pre-selections.

4 ★ Great app. I would give it 5 stars but there's only 1 thing missing. If this app had the ability to use your smartphone/tablet keypad when you have to type in searches, email address, usernames or passwords it would be perfect.
2 ★ This app needs a keyboard option so badly. Typing letter to letter. Up, down and across and suffering typos when searching Netflix / YouTube is and has always been painful.
3 ★ This app is below average. Typing in a search is useless most times. The app is ok whenever it decides to connect to my TV. My network is fine, I'm at a close range and even the TV seems to know it is syncing with my phone. But then the app disconnects from the TV and says network issue, when clearly the tv knew my phone was trying to connect.
1 ★ Received a message from LG TV remote that I had to install this program in order to use my blu ray player however the device does not show up with this app. All I want to do is use the device I cannot find the remote for but the apps LG provides are useless.
3 ★ I brought 2015 new web os 2 model starting with LF series but when I try to scan for tv the app don't show any tv when I check the installed version on app the 2015 models are not listed too.So please add 2015 model support.
2 ★ Works ok but can't stand the fact that when you quickly want to change volume for example, you open the app and the very first thing it does is spin and spin and then a stupid ad pops up. So forget about the quick access. Move the damn ad from startup.
1 ★ For older tv version LB58... why cant u give the screen sharing from mobile or tablets. Why do we need other apps to get it. But same future is avail in new advanced lg tv plus app. Why cant u integrated to lg tv remote version app. Please make it suitable for all version in a single app. Else it may not a good service.
1 ★ It worked like a charm few months back. I haven't used it for a while until recently. Guess what? Now it does not detect my smart tv at all although it is connected to the same wifi network. May be something is wrong with the updated version, if there was any.
1 ★ It doesn't work. Everytime I get on it it keeps saying to check the tv connection to the Internet e en though it is perfectly fine. I absolutely hate this app wish it actually worked cause it makes me want to take my TV back.
1 ★ This aap seems as though it hasn't been updated in ages. Can't find my TV and the dialogue mentions compatible models. LG support is worthless. They say there aren't any compatible models. One technician actually suggested I try all of them to see which one works. Don't waste your time.
4 ★ Arrow buttons need to be added because when you're viewing most apps (like BBC iPlayer) you're unable to navigate just using the scroll screen. Please fix this. For now, I have to switch between Peel Smart Remote and LG TV Remote, which is just ridiculous. It's like having multiple remotes for the TV again like it was in the 90s.
1 ★ Since the last webOS update, the app does not work on my LB3600 anymore. It can no longer find the TV when it scans. WebOS Magic Remote app is able to find and pair. So what gives LG? A third party app can do the job but you guys can't? Update... July 2017 and it still does not work.
4 ★ It works better than the remote pre-installed on my G4. I would have given 5 stars but it's lacking one thing. Really LG you couldn't put a power button on it? The pre-installed has it.
1 ★ App wants a 6-digit code from TV. TV used to pop a little window with the code in it, but now the little window no longer has a code - it's just a blank white rectangle where the code should be, and the old code it used to display there. doesn't work any longer. Tried this on 3 or 4 Androids ranging from Jelly Bean to Marshmallow, with identical result. Things like this should just work - and stay working.
1 ★ Installed the right app. It worked once. Now the app is broken. Phone app on mobile can't find any TV connection. ??? Checked settings are correct. App definitely is broken. It won't work in any of my Android phones. Xperia ultra marshmallow or Zenfone2 lollipop. Please fix it. Thanks.
