This is Pixel Experience, an LG Home+ theme for your LG G7 running Pie only!!! This theme is a premium quality theme like no other Home theme+. What you see is what you get and that is quality and attention to details! Unlike any other Home theme+ you will get some third party additions!
No need to run a third party theme system any more, just use the system theme chooser and you can enjoy all the benefits of an advanced theme system.
This theme has unlocked features that were previously locked on some devices. Features such as swipe right on home screen to activate Google now! Adaptive and dynamic icons are retained as well as the ability to choose more icon shape options! I do recommend that you select the circular icon shapes as it seems to jive nicely with the theme.
This theme includes mostly stock iconography but if you'd like to have that true pixel experience just use the rootless pixel 2 launcher or nova, etc! This was intentionally done to allow those who prefer the stock icons to have that choice.
Since this theme pushes the boundaries of the LG Theme system it retains adaptive and dynamic icons on stock launcher. Due to this you will have to select your navbar color in settings, display, home touch buttons. By default it may show you have selected the dark option, but the navbar may still be white. Simply select the white and then select the dar one again and you should be set. It's a bit odd but that's just how it has to work. Unfortunately there is one app that does not show the navbar as being dark which is the LG Music app. it demands to stay white due to this. I realize some people may not like this but LG has had this bug in their UI for well over a year and will not fix this. Any theme that has adaptive icons will have this issue. Feel free to message LG and ask them to fix this coding bug. It's just beyond my control folks!
To apply the theme simply go into settings/display and select themes. From there select Pixel Experience Dark, and push apply! You will notice on the first preview it has a banner on it telling you to reboot after applying the theme! That is to allow the notifications to look as advertised. For whatever reason the device needs a reboot to fully take effect.
That's it! Simple, easy and quick.
Please note that refunds will not be given for installations on non LG G7Devices. As the title of the theme clearly indicates which device this is for.
This theme is also meant to run at the highest resolution. Lowering your screen resolution may cause some elements to not look right. If you encounter that, simply increase your screen resolution.

4 ★ Overall this is a decent theme with one exception. 1) If you add any additional LG home touch buttons, the navigation buttons get way too small to use properly. I understand that this issue is probably a limitation of the operating system. If that's the case I'll just have to live without my QSlide button. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this theme!
5 ★ Nice change from the 2 default themes, especially if you want something dark that's easier on the eyes at night. It's a shame that it doesn't apply cleanly across all pre installed apps. But from what is mentioned in the description this is a fault on LGs coding so... Anyways, it's still nice, and has accomplished just what I needed, a darker theme for my device, that works better than having the system inverse colors on the screen which just makes everything look off putting and harsh. Thanx!
3 ★ Some notifications are blank. The notifications will be black but the letters are gray. It makes it really hard to read. And for notifications with white backgrounds, the letters are white as well meaning there's no reading it at all. Please fix it.
5 ★ Just what I was looking for, and an easy install. The round icons and folders look so much better than the square. Only qualm is the downloading bar being almost impossible to see, but the percentage is still clearly visible. 5/5, thank you for this theme.
5 ★ Totally awesome theme! Works great with Nova Launcher. I'd recommend installing the 3 "Light Notifications" apk patches (via link listed in the app description) immediately after installing this app and before applying the theme in settings - because I had several issues with the (default) dark notifications of this theme. It's amazing how true to the original Pixel this theme gets - with no glitches! Lovely rounded buttons and notification corners. Great work, Mark! - Highly recommended...
5 ★ Love it! But could you please make the normal navigation buttons look like stock pixel ones and not these gestures look alikes. It doesn't make sense to have gesture looking buttons if we have the gestures. And if you could fix an issue with notifications being unreadable because they are sit dark background and dark text that would be sweet. But otherwise very good app
5 ★ Been using this theme on my LG G7 since day one. I love the stock feel and the infamous dark theme in system apps. The rounding corners on text entry fields is a wonderful touch. Notifications have been flawless for me. My only issue is the navbar within certain apps has a black background and black buttons rendering them invisible.

5 ★ Fantastic looking theme. I highly recommend this plus Mark's other theme for the G7 which is the light version of this theme. Edit: Wow i can't believe you are still updating this app as well as your light Pixel Experience app!!!! Best money i have ever spent!!
5 ★ Beautiful and complete dark theme. I'm used to stock Android and this theme is helping me adjust a lot. The occasional notification has a bit of weirdness with black text or difficult to read dark blue text. It seems this text is set by the app rather than the theme. But otherwise this is excellent!
4 ★ Looks great, it was just what I wanted. Much better than any dark theme in the LG store. The dark notifications were easily fixed with the patches so no worries there. Great job Mark! Edit: notifications have become dark again and sender is not shown. What should I do?
5 ★ works great love how it looks. the only issue i have with it is that the texting app isnt in the dark theme. all other 1st party apps are working just the texting app is still white. :(edit app works fine im just dumb and hadn't updated me message app)
5 ★ Worked well on my V35 EXCEPT for the nav buttons on Chrome and Brave browsers. Bar was dark, buttons were black. Kinda unusable. Wish it were better tho. I did the "fix" described on the theme, twice, but no help for the chromium browsers. Cool though!
5 ★ Great theme, works well and my eyes thank you. Bonus, It enabled the newsfeed when you Swype left. Not sure why lg disabled it as an option. The newsfeed is not dark but this is a feature that should appear in android 9 for anyone that is wondering.
1 ★ my keyboard is completely white. let me know how to fix it. also i have downloaded, installed the apk for whatsapp notification, i still find the same prob. i reapplied the theme, restarted the phone But it still didnt work. Can you suggest me a fix ? i have also installed the files for notification light.
