2 ★ I will gladly change this rating of the app in the event it is finally fixed, but its current state is so broken that I can't enjoy the content I paid for. The app enters a loop, changing landscape and portrait, or says no video available when I try to watch something from the backlog. The only content that WILL work correctly is live broadcast. Blaze chat won't post messages if you close the keyboard while typing. Blaze can afford Surface hardware for the hosts, but not a good app dev?
1 ★ First time I reviewed this, I was trying to be lenient, thinking there would be an improvement to the moronic autoplay function. It's a major issue that still hasn't been fixed, so I'm going to let loose and complain. If a video cannot play due to a lack of internet, why on earth is the next thing the app does is try to play the next video? That is illogical, and makes the app unusable in areas without consistent internet. Keep it simple, and give us the option to turn off autoplay.
3 ★ Already annoying problem if you cast-you can't do anything else on your phone or it just goes crazy. Have show casting, everything is fine as long as phone isn't touched, get text and go to look, it then plays audio only on my phone AND casting but at different points in the video. If you push pause, it pauses the cast not the phone audio. The only way to stop the audio on the phone from playing is to exit out of Blaze all together and it did not save spot on the video you were watching before.
1 ★ Pay $80 dollars a year.. . Fix your app. It always crashes, and signs me out. Started having problems opening it will stay on the splash screen. The UI is terrible and finicky making it hard to navigate and use causing me to skip through the video being watched. Please add the option to stream live and go back if I miss part of a video especially when the video isn't available up to 6 hours later..
3 ★ Love the content but the app is just ok. *Stop forcing full screen as it is really annoying * Stop taking away my controls to minimize it ir go back * I want an option to speed up (1.20 or 1.25 would be perfect) * I'd like an option to move forward 10 seconds. * I'd love an audio only option as that is what I'd use most of the time Also keep having issues where video stops playing and in switched randomly to a different video. Also saving my place didn't always work.
2 ★ I love this content, Steven Crowder and Elijah Shaffer, and this prompted me to subscribe yearly... However, the app is not very user friendly. It logs me out at least once a day, stops playing randomly and if it doesnt resume playing the video I started within 3 seconds, it skips it and plays "next available video" which is extremely annoying, especially when listening with the phone locked, as it does not resume playing where the video stopped. I've updated recently and the issue persists.
3 ★ I love this app and everyone in it but every time I cast something from my device and I turn my phone off, The video resumes playing on my phone and The TV at the same time. I lose my ability to pause or rewind from my phone. The only way for me to cast it and successfully use it as a remote control is I have to keep my phone on the entire duration of the show. The daily wire had the same issue a month ago and they already fixed it. This app never gets updates, please give this app some love.
3 ★ I got the app on my Galaxy S10 (plz put it on LG tvs) so I could cast to my TV but the cast button is grayed out (I was told it's Chromecast only; it's just the same icon as YouTube and I can cast that, so I was confused). I can use the Smart Things app to cast to my phone, at least. But the worst thing is the chat, when the keyboard shows up so you can enter text, it covers the text input box so you can't see what you're typing. Once it did show the chat box above my keyboard but never again.
4 ★ I love the app, and the content is great. But we really have to do something about playback, because I use the app mainly while I'm driving because I drive several hours per day for work, and I'll lose service for like 3 seconds, and it'll skip to the next video. Not a big deal, but when I'm driving, I can't exactly make adjustments or rewind, it's really just a Quality of Life issue for the app. Otherwise, it's great!
2 ★ Great content, app needs work. The new feature that let's you jump forward in the video to a tagged location/time slice, is extremely poorly planned. Often there are only tagged time slices in the first 5 minutes of a 1 hour video which results into me accidentally selecting the time slice when I wanted to fast forward slightly but instead it sends me back to the beginning of the video. And worse you cant hide the garbage feature, it hogs the whole mobile screen which makes seeking impossible
2 ★ Rating would be lower if not for LWC. The app is the definition of garbage. The entire purpose of this app is to stream content and it is almost impossible to do so. Constant buffering, cutting out, and failure to play. I can stream the same content on YouTube with no issue, but switch to blaze for mugclub content and I may as well have a dial up internet feed.
3 ★ The content is, of course great. The only complaints I have are that: 1. When typing I'm chat, I cannot see what I'm typing or edit what I have typed. Inevitably, I see spelling and grammar mistakes after my comment has been entered into chat. I have seen that other chat commenters have had problems, as well, and I assume it comes from them not being enabled to see/edit properly. 2. When a video is having trouble loading for some amount of time, redirects to an older video. Annoying.
1 ★ This app sucks. It takes forever to launch sometimes, the live videos don't allow for rewind, which is an industry standard. The desktop version is not much better, with the same rewind issue, and failure to load the web page at times. Also, the desktop version uses a ton of resources, way more than YT. I honestly only use the app to watch LwC, and if there was another option (other than YT) I would. I know this review could negatively impact LwC, but at this point I want the devs to see this.
2 ★ Content is great but this App is garbage or maybe I'm just not using it right. 1, any content you select forces you to watch in full screen. 2, you can't tell what content you have watched or pick up from where you left off. 3, more information on when the episode is posted so you can see the order. 4, would be good to download to watch off line. There is more I'm sure but only had the app few days. I look forward to updates
2 ★ Im only giving one star for the content they carry (the first star doesn't count). It randomly stops to load/buffer (sometimes for minutes) and sometimes gives a "unable to play video" msg and starts playing something else. In that case, it doesn't even remember your place and restarts from the beginning when you make it play your video again. If not for LwC, I def would not pay $10/month for such a questionable service. C'mon guys, step it up a bit!
