5 ★ Tried this app out and while I liked it, I decided I didn't want to purchase an annual subscription. I missed the cancellation date and was charged for the annual subscription. I emailed the company and they reimbursed my charges. Very professional response. The app is really good, I just don't take and edit many photos.
1 ★ I have purchased the yearly subscription, which was around $40.00, I believe. On top of that, you have to purchase AI images every time you use it. They usually cost between $5.99 and $7.99. It just depends on how many. I have purchased over 7,600 images from their AI, and I can honestly say that maybe 50 of the images are actually useful. As someone who has wasted hundreds, if not thousands of dollars already, save your money. Even the photo editor isn't that great. Save your money.
4 ★ The most accurate AI app I have used this far and pretty fair with the price. Most of the time the art comes out beautiful, though not every picture is perfect I believe you get your money's worth. The newest update 2.0 has cool themes, but the art styles all look the same and my pictures in particular look too much like the model photos instead of me. I'll stick with the original and versitle art style.
1 ★ I agree with those that tried it a while ago, was happy with the results, so tried it again only to receive awful ones that look nothing like me. The first pack I don't know how many months ago was awesome. The second which cost more are terrible. It also doesn't make it clear that after you pay for the year, you still have to pay on top of that but at the discount. So even with the subscription on sale, I paid $37 for 200 more avatars that look nothing like me. Very disappointed.
2 ★ It's gone downhill. I wanted to get a new pack of avatars because I figured there might be more styles available... and there were... But first, I noticed a substantial price increase of 100-150%. Okay, fine. I get the 200 pack thinking it will be my last pack. Out of TWO HUNDRED photos, maybe 2 resembled me. With previous packs, there were so many that looked like me! It was amazing! But now, I paid double the price for photos that barely look like me. Really bummed about this downgrade.
2 ★ Hit or miss, unresponsive "customer service". I've had some recreations that are uncanny, I don't even mind looking like a different ethnicity if I can still myself reflected there. This last batch was so inaccurate that it appeared to q up with someone else's. I let them know and there was no resolution. Sometimes, the results look distorted. The first batch of results were so good, that I kept chasing that, but no subsequent requests were ever as good.
1 ★ DEFECTIVE, SCAM, WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY, USE REMINI INSTEAD. Did the free trial and then PAID 3.99 for avatars, selected my selfies, and tried to import. Then it says failed try again, so I do, but it just keeps failing. So I closed the app and started over. Now, the 3.99 I paid doesn't count, and in order to complete the process, it wants me to pay AGAIN!
5 ★ I like this one! Simple to navigate & create avatars. Many style options with higher quality results than others I've tried. "Save all" works , plus 4k resolution option (unlike some i had to save each pic individually). I especially like the editing options both before & after. Started w/ 7day free trial, do have to pay for each pack when creating, but there's options for that also & i often get the mid-size pack of 100 for about $5-$6! After 7days i cancelled but then subscribed 1yr for $15
5 ★ It creates awesome results!!!! but it's a gamble too. Some of them just kinda make you look like a different person all together. but when you get good photo, the accuracy is flawless. Also have you guys ever thought to do like a duo picture like male and female together filters. Couple photos. That would be pretty cool!!!!!
2 ★ I bought their annual subscription back in December. That subscription is supposed to discount your in-app purchases by 50%. But here I am like 9 months later trying to get some more images, but the app ignores the fact that I paid for that subscription already and tries to make me pay full price. The images are cool, but the way they charge you is absolutely a scam. Don't buy the annual subscription like I did.
1 ★ I wanted to try the free trial and realized there were better apps to use. I canceled in play store but it must've been too close to cancel (the day before). THEN I requested for a refund a few days after. This was in DECEMBER. I want to say when I was going thru apps and making sure everything was updated. Couldn't believe I never even received a reply. Awful service. There are better apps to use. I deserved a reply to the two emails I sent just for how much I spent.
4 ★ Update...the app is cool. When it gets it right, my pics are awesome. Unfortunately you can't control if and when, or how many results actually look like you. The newer styles added to the app seem to produce less accurate results. Pictures without bright lighting and with strong features/ produce better results. The better the app can detect the outlines of the photos you choose, the better the accuracy of results that actually look like you. I don't care for the prices lol.
1 ★ Downloaded this app mainly to try the avatar feature only to find out that I have to pay for it first...what a blip! You should at least let a person try this feature with 2-3 pictures 1st. You could even put a watermark over it to show what they'd be getting 1st, instead wanting money right off. Not a good sales tactic and definitely a turn off for me. Also, the app seems to have issues when you try to push certain buttons, because nothing happens. Uninstalling, not worth it.
1 ★ Too much money for an unstable app. This is just about the Magic AI. Doing it twice now has resulted in images with no heads, completely warped images, and only about 10% that actually bear a resemblance to me. I understand the tech is new and learning. But a headless avatar? And multiple at that. I only imported head shots as instructed. When I told them about the issue they told me to try again and assured me I wouldn't be charged. That was false. And the second round was worse!
1 ★ DON'T DOWNLOAD!!!! NOT worth it! Signed up for a free trial (with the yearly subscription to follow) and then I got started choosing pictures and filters. Got to the point where the next step would be for the app to do its thing but it popped up a notification saying I'd have to pay separately for this (even with the subscription I was already trialing!) and I find that to be very shady. Canceled the trial immediately and uninstalled the app. No thanks!!
