The following schemes are run by the Service Department: -

1. Career counseling:

The aim of this scheme is to organize career counseling camps to help the unemployed in the selection of subjects according to the opportunities of education, training and employment and provide information about opportunities available in the employment market. Under the Business Guidance Program in the Service Department, guidance for providing suitable livelihood for students and unemployed is done according to the arrangements made in the National Employment Service of the Government of India. Under this scheme, professional guidance and mentorship is given on the basis of educational achievements of candidates, interest-interest, family and economic background and variable business activities. For the purpose of this program, the employment offices have to establish intensive contact with educational institutions.

In order to fulfill the said objectives, the Career Counseling Cell was established at the Directorate level in the year 2006-07, whose main objective is to determine the goals for the field offices for career counseling and to give them guidance from time to time. In order to make the business guidance program more dynamic in 2008, arrangements were made to organize different types of intensive and integrated programs under 'Innovative efforts and innovative directions' and this program was named "Career Counseling" Gaya. In 2008-09, under the 'Opportunity' nominated program, workshops organized by Universities Welfare Information and Marketing Centers in addition to various regional and district employment offices were organized. 2. Employment Fair:
