Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an application to record audio.

1 ★ The app is not communicating with Location services, (GPS). Without this the app will not complete setup. Also, when trying to add name the teal "Enter" icon does not function. {edit} After much research I found another app in Google Play that works with the plug. If you're having trouble getting this app to work try this one; Tuya Smart App
5 ★ Nobody really talks much about this clone of many smart app controllers but I've had more successes with this than the ones recommended on blogs plus this one seems to have resolved the login bug the parent company (Tuya) has (currently). It's far more compatible with most brands than they let on. It's the only one I needed for 7 brands of lights, switches, plugs and power bars. Note. I wasted days trying to get scenes to work between this and Google Home till I figured out they're automations
4 ★ The application is well organized and has a lot of functionality. My only concern is the location setting does not appear to be working and I have recieved no response from the developer. Being a able to set the location does not appear to affect any of the other features so I would not let that prevent you from trying this or or buying the other KMC products
2 ★ Okay This app does work. That said, it is by far the most difficult of any brand I have found that also connects to Alexa. You have to use the alternate pairing system which is amazingly complex. then when you make your way through that made you try to get Alexa to recognize it and you find it cannot be set up directly so you have to teach it the KMC skill. PIA but it does work and it is cheap. 2 for difficult 3 stars for works and cheap! You can rename it but must do it in Alexa.
1 ★ Location detection failure make the app and the plug useless. My location services are properly set up on my Samsung Galaxy S9. I tried disabling location and re-enabling, restarting the phone. Nothing works. Why can't I type in or search by postal code? The app will not let you do anything unless the location is known but since you can't set the location, this app and the "smart plug" are useless. Please fix location and I'll re-rate.
1 ★ Setup fails due to locate problems. This stupid software won't work unless it knows your physical location, but won't let you set that. It insists on using your GPS location service and when that doesn't work after you enable it, you're out of luck. Too fussy for me. Samsung Galaxy Tab A running Android 7.1.1
1 ★ I bought a Wi-Fi switch. The app does not have any updates. It loses from the network everyday and I have remove add it everyday now. Adding back is not easy. It takes about 10 repeats for it to finally respond to the app. No updates for the app ever. Daily setup is getting too frustrating. This is a piece of junk. Do not buy
5 ★ There are some tricks with this app; I'm sure it works with Amazon listed 2.4GHz Smart Plug. You need to change your phone wifi to 2.4GHz from router; most routers have this setting, by default, it may be shut off. Don't use auto scan, just choose whatever device you have, and follow the instructions on the APP. I recommend you change each plug name/ After you set up the plug, you can switch your phone back to 5GHz wifi setting, it still work; I felt a little big slower.

Every time it's product doesn't connect to the app, you have to constantly reenter your password... additionally they give you multiple ways to connect to the device , despite that they only give you one option to connect via Wi-Fi I at the beginning🤦🏾♂️ . Whoever developed this app should be fired
5 ★ Love these smart plugs!! Bought one and really like the ease of set up and the ability to control from app or voice. Plus it shows you how much electricity you are using for each individual usage. Got mine for less than $15, ended up buying two more, that's how much I love these smart plugs. Highly recommend them.
1 ★ I am having trouble with the whole system. It will not recognize the plugs at all and I am standing right beside them. I had faster internet installed and now the plugs will not be recognized at all for some reason. I would never buy this product again!!!
5 ★ I have never been tech savvy, but this app wasn't that hard to figure out. I was definitely excited about getting my smart plugs and being able to control my fan and my lights. Im disabled so therefore I always have to call on my roommate to turn my fan on when I'm hot then im cold an hour later. This app and the plugs are amazing!
1 ★ Horrible. Biggest POS out there it should be able to differentiate between 2 and 5 ghz . That being said I had it in the same room as the router and this POS would NOT connect, manually or Automatically..waste of over 2 hours and 20 bucks sending it BACK ,my review there was Not so nice either, sell a crappy product get crappy reviews!
1 ★ the app is not working, possible pugs. It wouldn't allow me to add user account, because it can't locate my geographical city... i tried other apps to connect the plugs but, it can't recognize the plugs. very annoying and was waste of time and money. fix it, to rerate app.
3 ★ It's built on the same platform as Linksio, another smart socket. It works OK, but my gripes are needing to surrender my wifi credentials, and no other channel to get the energy usage data which it's harvesting.
