Description
The Motive Driver App makes recording Hours of Service (HOS) on your Android phone or tablet fast and easy.
It complies with the FMCSA regulations, including Part 395. When used with the Motive Vehicle Gateway device, the app helps fleets and individual commercial drivers meet their obligations outlined under the ELD mandate.
Supports current Canadian Federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
Connect the Motive Driver App to the Motive Vehicle Gateway via Bluetooth to stay compliant through an electronic logging device (ELD).
Proactively alerts you when you’re running out of driving time to avoid Hours of Service (HOS) violations.
Displays total hours worked for the week and your available Hours of Service for any given day and the following day.
Can be switched to Inspection Mode to show ELD logs to an officer during a roadside inspection without compromising the driver’s privacy.
TRACKING & TELEMATICS
When dispatched, GPS location data is shared to the Motive Fleet Dashboard to update dispatchers and fleet managers on stops and arrivals.

Motive Driver (ex KeepTruckin) 83.0 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

1 ★ The last update sucks beyond belief, it freezes up, takes forever to change duty status and has come disconnected from my truck several times, was happy with system before this garbage update!
1 ★ last update worth ever ,camera hard to rotate when take pic on documents. unplg device errors message, it's time to say bye keep truckin..there is better device out there and cheaper
1 ★ All was good till this last update screen changes when it wants to will not change duty status when I want to response time is 5 to 8 seconds screen functions are non-responsive new update changes are totally user unfriendly please go back to old format
1 ★ Ever since this update all of my drivers apps are freezing up, screens are going black, and they are not properly tracking. This needs to be fixed ASAP
1 ★ After the most recent update. This app crashes, Lags and disconnected at every screen change. It takes me 15-20 mins just input load info.
1 ★ Also the customer service is aweful someone called me to ask about my review and they never called again and the sad thing about it us there's a accident up the road and the app will not allow anyone to add the 2 hour exempment such a awful app will not recommend to any trucker
5 ★ Not bad of an ELD. I have worked with qualcom, big rig, and a few others and the keep trucking Eld app is definitely less invasive and more user-friendly then the others. And thus far I haven't had any major interference with my cell phone and it seems to not bother the speed of other apps I might be using at the same time. You can't expect that with Qualcomm the most of us are well-versed with how invasive Qualcomm is
3 ★ It would be great if there was an option for multiple origins/destinations when filling out the log book. Also keep trucking should sell its own large screen device to use. I dislike having to keep the application on my personal cell phone. Food for thought...
1 ★ update the time zone for NL. It's a half hour later in NL got nothing to do with Atlanta time ... two years later still not FIXED??? Still not fixed needs to hire someone who knows how to fix the time zone.
1 ★ The issue I'm having is that the app will continue to mark me as driving even when I'm at a hotel to rest over night. Last night when I arrived at my hotel it would not let me log out, claiming I was in motion. This morning it still claims I'm in motion and won't let me access the dashboard. So now I'm 14 hours over violation according to this stupid thing. This is not the first time. At first I thought it was an issue with my phone (Galaxy S9). Now it's doing it with a newer one (Galaxy S20).
5 ★ Really good and easy to use... I use paper logs and it's real nice to manually put myself where I need to be. When I make mistakes, corrections are easy to fix... No more papers to keep organized or together. All the latest laws are updated here when they come out, including the new split hours, thx guys for keeping me on track and legal... I've had several officers check it out and compliment me on it.
4 ★ Had some problems but they got me all fixed. Did some updates and its working again.
1 ★ The problem is at times it's not recording your driving it throws everything off. You think your not on violation of your 11 hours. You log off for the day it's all good. Two days later it tells you to claim some driving Now you are in violation because this app did not pick up your driving two days ago. Nobody can do anything you get the out of service. JUNK,,,
4 ★ I'm not sure if they did an update or not. I can't access my old logs anymore. It tells me this. Network error. Refresh your browser and try again. I am using my phone and after I cleaned everything on the phone. Including my history, it still doesn't work. So I downloaded it on an other phone and after one day. I am now getting the same error. Good program. I've been using it for 2 years and this is the 1st time I've had a problem. Back on paper logs until this problem is fixed
1 ★ Uploading documents is a painful experience. Take the picture of the document - and the app rotates it and cuts off the top and bottom of the image. Spend 30 minutes on something that should take 2 minutes, tops. Support is useless - "uninstall and reinstall the app". Now "Use another device". Suggestion: allow us to insert a photo from the phone's local storage. Fleets: Don't saddle your drivers with this turd. Zero stars
