App permissions

iTech SW 1.8.4 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Allows applications to write the sync settings.

Allows applications to read the sync settings.

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.

Allows an application to receive SMS messages.

Allows an application to send SMS messages.

Allows an application to read SMS messages.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to read the user's call log.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to write the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to write (but not read] the user's call log data.

Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.

Allows an application to read the user's calendar data.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to broadcast sticky intents.

Allows an application to read or write the secure system settings.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Declaring the permission implies intention to use the API and the user of the device can grant permission through the Settings application.

3 ★ We're in that brave new world where you have to review the app before you purchase the hardware. The hardware isn't bad for the price of less than $50, but the sw limits the capability. Weight limits in personalization mentioned it other reviews, lack of granularity in setting notifications (blocking them on the watch still consumes phone battery life )... needs work.

2 ★ Uhh. Please give a reply. I have a request. Please add a feature to where we can change the message templates. I do not find them useful. I'd give the app and the watch 5 stars if that feature was added. Please. I'd like to set my own quick responses. Then it would be perfect for a basic smart watch. Thank you

1 ★ It's junk, don't even bother. Get your money back if you can. Where do i begin with this watch? For example, the sleep monitor assumes that everyone in the world goes to bed and wakes up at the same exact time. No way to program it to your sleep cycle. The list goes on and on. Let me put it this way. The only good thing about this watch is the screen is nice and bright, even in sunlight i can see the time. And it is a nice looking watch but that's about the only good things i can honestly say. Even tech support scams you pretending to be different people, usually a woman but it's male who owns jewlry stores in NYC. I know because i researched it thoroughly.

1 ★ This piece of crap isn't even worth spending the time to even look at. Keep moving as fast as you can!!! Doesn't even deserve 1 star, but, you can't give a -10 star rating.

4 ★ S5 everything works prefact. The rang ant the best but ok. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about people just dont know what they doing it takes a few minutes to set up but everything works just fine for me. In facted i love it FOR WHAT I PAID its a really cool digital watch for $26.08 not bad at all. I do now what a real smart watch any android wear would be nice

1 ★ So my music won't sync, can't put my real weight in there. Can't send anything but a preset text.very disappointing. I don't ever but my self stuff so I put this on layaway and when I got it out I am very dissapointed and let down.. I'll take it back tomorrow..

4 ★ This item was a gift from a student (I'm a group fitness instructor). She told me it only cost her $20 and refused to let me pay her for it. I've had it for over a year. It's been functional and I like the pedometer option. I wish it worked with other apps. It's my first go at a digital watch of this kind and I plan to upgrade to something else soon (the app is no longer responsive with my Android after the most recent update). So, it's time to go ahead a look at a FitBit or other digital device. It was good for a first experience!

2 ★ App crashes every time I've opened it. The watch will disconnect if the phone is further than my back pocket. I couldn't even lay my phone on my dresser and lay down in bed without it disconnecting. Steps are WAY off compared to Fitbit. I was excited to have a watch to use with my phone but I hate that the messages do not show up in notification. You have to back out and go to a new page to read messages and even then you can't respond with anything other than a few preset options. Calling feature works

4 ★ It works good auto fill in health although everyone we want to manually put in data. It won't manually synce and this have it able but this do need update and fixed

1 ★ Watch locks up, does not sync regularly and notifications do not come through. Would be great if i could set which notifications i want to receive. Battery died too quick also.

1 ★ I liked I could change my music but can't pause or use volume control. It would be nice for my use with barely anything to sync but the damn app won't leave the pedo page for me to set it up I liked it now that the app is crap and it can't fully serve me I think I'll order on amazon

1 ★ Its easier than carrying around my phone but the steps are way off 4 laps where I walk should give me 4000 steps instead it gave me like 2000. It could be a good thing for me just means ill have to work out longer to achieve my step goal per day which means more weight loss for me. But the quality is poor I mean the watch is inexpensive but it doesn't mean it has to be so poor in quality. Also the step count on the watch and app reads different as well.

1 ★ App fails with Android O (8.0.0) Hopefully the developer is working on updates so when Android O is officially released it will work. When update is available I'll change the rating to 4-5 stars.

1 ★ App not good tried with 5 phones app is no good for me just seems to junk up my phones Yet I can get and send phone calls to watch and sync phone book other then that find it a next to worthless Would like some other app to use with this watch. It offers loading of apps yet they take a very long time to load if you can install the apps to phone was only able to load a weather app yet it takes more then 3 min to load...see no point in it..

5 ★ Information is just spot on the watch is amazing,dont need no stupid fit bit watch,when u can have one of these.Also makes it easy at work cause we cant have cell phones,but they allow my itech.And just to top it all off i didnt think i would get. Something like this,untill the wife gave it to me for early fathers day.ILU ITECH keep up the good work.
