1 ★ The update on June 29th is buggy. The app continued crashing. Had to reinstall, and lost all the conversation. This is a garbage app. Doesn't worth even a star.
2 ★ Login problems, poor customer service. I've had a problem logging in to the app for almost 2 weeks and the so called costumer service keep sending me the same pre- written answers, getting no help what so ever to solve the issue. I've not broken any rules, just Uninstalled and re- installed the app... apparently that's not allowed even if the app crashes. I'm very disappointed...
2 ★ This is such a bad app! I tried to joining one of the groups and it doesn't allow me too! The first time I downloaded this I got to join one group but I'd decided to join another one and it didn't doesn't let me!! It's because of policy blablabla FIX IT!!!!
1 ★ Horrible first time experience with the app and its incompetent support. I joined as a new user with my Google Voice #. My account was suspended immediately, unbeknownst to me. After THREE separate tickets with support over the course of a month trying to figure out why, I was given a generic reply about why accounts can be suspended and to wait a few weeks of normal activity to get an auto un suspend. It's been over a month. All tickets closed, with no means of contacting. Horrible.
1 ★ The app wouldn't open properly today so i deleted it and reinstalled it. I couldn't remember my login so I wemt through the process of reverifying. However, the app doesn't recognize the verificiation codes I received through email even when I copied and pasted them. Guess I can't use it again
4 ★ It's a really amazing app! Love the stickers and the calls and video calls a great! One thing I'd like is to have the option to change the language within the app, not by changing the whole phone system's language. On the iPhone it's possible, why not on an Android as well? For that, 4 stars.
3 ★ Backing up is a pain. You can only backup chats without media for non-Korean phone numbers. There's also no way for overseas users to set up a wallet so there's no way to subscribe to Talk Drive that allows backing up chat INCLUDING the media. I am changing my phone and I can't transfer everything without the Talk Drive. At least let Talk Drive be available for overseas numbers.
1 ★ Awful app. Incredibly difficult to set up. Had to use for job interview in South Korea. Myself and a friend were a half an hour trying to figure out how to do a call on the app as part of a trial run for the interview. They had my user ID and added me, but I couldn't see that they'd added me and accept them, so I missed the interview . It's like they tried to hide the most useful aspects of the app. I don't know how they managed to mess up something which should be simple straighforward.
1 ★ Once I uninstalled this app because of my storage. Now I install it again but I can't login. My email,my phone number and my password is all correct. I didn't do anything that violent the rules. But still I can't login or even if I can,I can't do anything with it. Only can open it but can not messaging,enter chat or whatsoever. I'm dissapointed and mad at the same time.
5 ★ Ive been using the app for 6-7 yrs now to talk with my friend in South Korea. I haven't had any problems except for the once-in-a-while call drop. Thats nothing unusual as FB Messenger is worse lol! Love the emoticons as well! So cute!
1 ★ there seems to be a problem about call notification on my phone. im using samsung galaxy s21 ultra, when someone called me on kakaotalk, i need to unlock the lockscreen then notification appeared and sometimes there's no ringtone sound from kakaotalk. i already checked all the settings in phone and kakaotalk, i turned on all notification but there's nothing wrong with it. and also from other phone who using kakaotalk (using samsung galaxy note 10) and hes experieced have the same problem. also,
3 ★ I used to love kkt, however, it's been experiencing several bugs including not saving the wallpapers for each chatroom and instead leaving it black, plus, it's been having issues with notifications which sucks for a messaging app. The stickers are super cute, though, so I hope a future update will fix the other issues again.
5 ★ It's very useful. Help me to connected with my friends. But why some features in kakaotalk korea not available in kakaotalk indonesia? I hope our features will be similiar one with kakaotalk korea, such as multiple profile features. Multiple profile features available in kakaotalk korea, so I hope it will be available too over the world.. ^^
2 ★ It's too secure. I tried to delete my old account, which I added my main Gmail, but because I don't know one piece of information, I am not able to do so. Therefore, I have no other choice but to make a new Gmail, lose all my emoticons, and add all the people that I know on a new account. I know Kakaotalk is trying to protect our private information, but I am just frustrated on how many hours i wasted trying to sign in to my old account and delete it.
3 ★ Sms option doesn't make any sense. Can only search in your contact. What about a phone number it will just return nothing found. The sms functions misses basic things like just adding a number and not from just your contacts. Make a spam filter as well or so that you can block sms with keywords.
