Description

Just Run is a simple workout app to help you get running. I made this app to get myself off the couch and start running to get to 5K. Stick to the workout plan, and you'll be able to run 5K in 9 weeks. It really does work!

If you're already able to run 5K, Just Run also has a 6-week plan to help you get up to 10K!

Workout Plans
- Zero to 5K: Gets you from absolute zero running experience to 5K in just 9 weeks, with three 30-minute workouts per week
- 5K to 10K: If you can already run 5K, or have finished Zero to 5K, this plan gets you to 10K in only 6 weeks

📅 Target dates for each workout, calculated based on your progress, and optimal exercise days
📣 Choose from multiple trainer voices, which tell you exactly when to run and walk
📱 Lock screen notification so you don't need to unlock your phone to check your progress

5 ★ I used to run cross country in college, but completely stopped running after I graduated. This app has made it easy to get back out there and the structure helps keep me from trying to run like I'm still in the shape I was in a few years ago. Super easy to use, and no hidden paywalls like with other "free" apps.

4 ★ This is a great app to get you up and running if you're starting from scratch or picking back up after a long hiatus. It's simple and straightforward. Only four stars because it has no GPS tracking, which is the only thing I'd like to see added. Tracking distance and route would be a welcome addition. That being said, I really have no complaints. Great app!

5 ★ This app does exactly as it says it does. So far I am 3 weeks in and there's been no ads and it has been a nice ramp up where I feel tired at the end of every workout but don't feel overly tired. I recommend this if you want a very simple and straightforward zero to 5K app

5 ★ Loving the training so far, I am on week 2 and think I may need to repeat this week already, slow and steady improvement is better, but the app allows me to do this so no problems there. I can play Spotify for my music in the background with no issues while using this app. My only complaint would be the lack of a three second beeper or count down to transition the walking/running, so if that is something the developer would look at adding, that would be fantastic.

5 ★ I don't usually rate any app. But this app is amazing. There are no adds in there that would bother you every second, the UI is really user friendly and the programme is nicely balanced (5k), so you feel your progress every time you go running without being entirely out of breath. Anyway, if you want to achieve your goals, this app is the right one!

3 ★ The app itself in terms of how it works is great. My only issue is going from an 8 minute to 20 minutes is an absolute killer. Everything was going so well until this point but the jump was way too much. It nearly finished me off. I am onto week 6, just managed a 10 minute run, but 22 minutes as my next run. Really? I am 49. I think as a 30 year old this may be OK. Do we need apps for different age groups? Just a suggeation.

5 ★ Fantastic app. I had another similar one that all of a sudden asked for payment. I'm now on week five and I've never been able to run this far. Baby steps made super easy. Got a bit scared when it said twenty minutes so I'm not ashamed to say I filled a rucksack with 18kg and started again. I didn't have any breaks really so maybe that's why...need to let the body rest...but I'm now doing the running carry weights and I'm almost finished week three again...I'm doin two runs a day consecutively.

4 ★ Great app! The only thing that would make it perfect is if it tracked the distance you walked/ran, not just time. It would be great to see the distance and improvement over the course of training.

5 ★ My fitness levels were basically nonexistent. On week one I was exhausted after doing the 1 minute intervals, just a few weeks on and I'm running for 10/15 minutes straight with no problems. I struggled with the sudden 20 minute stretch in week 5 so I'm going to redo the week, but really impressed! Feel so proud of my progress and have been recommending this app to all my friends.

5 ★ I've never reviewed an app before but like many others here think this app deserves it! Clear simple app which does exactly what you want without ads. The training plan has been great for me - I've started from never running before to 5.3k just at the end of week 8. The jumps in time running/walking always pushed me but were always realistic and my body was ready for it. Would definitely recommend to someone that wants to start running and hasn't done anything before.

5 ★ Excellent, easy to use and very consistent. This was a great tool to get me back into a more active workout. Looking forward to going through the entire program again to increase speed before I move on to Bridge to 10K.

3 ★ Just started using this app & liked it because I can listen to Spotify at the same time. However, run/walk notifications aren't automatic unless I have the app open (phone unlocked) which means holding my phone throughout the run. I think I'd rather use an app with ads than having to keep unlocking my phone to check progress.

5 ★ Simple app that delivers exactly what it promises. No coaching, just cues to start, stop and when you've reached the halfway point. Plan is effective. I started 9 weeks ago, 60 yrs old, 12 lbs overweight and hadn't run in 40 yrs. 9 weeks later I'm still 60 and 12 lbs overweight but able to run 30 minutes.

5 ★ Great app to get running! Our whole family used this to go from couch to 10k. The kids were struggling the first few weeks and hated doing it. After about 2 months they started looking forward to our runs. We started playing some running games like fartlek and letting the leader choose the path. This is a great app that helped our whole family get into running long distances! Thanks to the developer for making it!

5 ★ To put it simply, I never thought I would enjoy running so much!! Great app. At the beginning, I ran longer than the app told me to because I knew I could push myself ,I levelled out with the app pretty fast and now I am just getting better!! I run longer and faster. I use mapmyrun app to measure the distance I run and because I run faster everytime, the distance is also longer!
