3 ★ Not good for auto reading off usb drive. The biggest thing is it loses the playlist majority of the time so you have to rebuild the playlist (choose folder) to bring it back from settings. Going through the settings to do this 7 out of 10 times is highly disappointing. The features are great love the effects you can apply to make it sound better. Can you please have it quick scan when the program is reopened? That way it can check known paths?

3 ★ Good, but it only seems to scan for music on my device – my memory card or USB memory card reader doesn't show up when I try to look for either of those devices. VLC & My Files apps can pick those up just fine, so it's not my hardware or anything like that. Perhaps external storage isn't yet implemented into this app, so I can't use this because all my music is on my memory card. Oh well... 🤷🏻‍♂️

4 ★ Love the app and plug-ins. Support, not so much. I've used for years. The ability to tailor sound to your preference is unmatched! What I don' t like is the inability to modify tags or edit music files that are stored on my SD card. There are instructions on the website to do so, but they don't work and all I get from Support is crickets... Shouldn't need a computer to use an Android app. Sound quality is 5 star. Lack of Support removes 1 star.

4 ★ great customization and great 3rd party sound engines. the problem i have with it thats really annoying me is the playlists will have a bug where you can't rearrange the order or it will switch the wrong song. i used to get around this by just moving over the playlist to a copy and then it would be fine for a bit before it just ends up happening again. best music app tho for the sound engines. really boosts the audio.

4 ★ A great music player when set up right but extremely finicky. Simply put this player has the best sound on certain equipment, performs best on reference because the eq, clarity, and everything else just crumbles on any relatively high eq gain, and this is where it falls behind to poweramp such as soundstage and its EQ, but if you dont have to EQ hardly at all and the soundstage isnt awful, it can deliver unmatched lifelike mids and sound on the right equipment and setup. It is not versatile.

5 ★ Very well thought out player. Overall good sound quality. Do have one issue with editing tags. All my music is on my SD card and can't seem to grant permissions to change the tag, even though I followed the directions. AGC works wonderful. I have many songs on my library with different gain levels and the AGC brings every song to optimal levels.

1 ★ PLEASE FIX PLAYLIST ISSUE!!! It's been over a year now! Enough already! Used to be great. Now not so much. The inability to add music to a playlist puts me in a love/hate relationship with it. Love the functionality and interface. Hate the dead playlist issue. It has followed me from one phone to the next and now I have no playlists at all on my new phone. Fix this issue or hire someone who can.

4 ★ I have been using this app for a few years now. For all of the options that you are given for real time audio changes, the quality is really good. You definitely need to know what you're doing to maintain sound clarity and avoid distortion but that's just how audio works. I haven't had any issues but I am also avoiding the most recent update since some people say the 20 band EQ was removed. I'll give it 5 stars if that issue is resolved and the feature returned.

4 ★ Quite good, does what a player should do. It's nice to have volume control on the main screen. Still can't figure out why players pause when non-playing devices are disconnected. I'd like to see bigger fonts, smaller album art, and bigger buttons and slider bars. Some locations of menu options are unexpected. This app works well, and I recommend it. Would be nice to play and pause by touching the art.

4 ★ Doesn't show .m4b files in the "artists", "albums", "song" section in the app, nor in the "folder" tab. Though it can play them correctly if called from external file manager, there's no way to get to .m4b files through the Jet Audio app itself. The clunky workaround is to manually rename files from .m4b to .m4a, then it's working. Otherwise an absolutely fantastic music player app!

4 ★ 1/31/23: It appears that the latest update fixed the issue. Thank you. 1/14/23: This was up until a few weeks the best music player app for Android. The latest update now causes songs to stop playing randomly and when you press play, the song starts from the beginning. It happens while listening to it in a car, using Bluetooth headphones, etc. Very annoying. I have a S22 Ultra and this will often be the only app running when this happens. Today, it did it for 5 songs in a row.

5 ★ This app has worked so well for me for probably 5 years. The customization is very much to my liking. The AM3D really does make a difference, especially if the phones DAC makes the music sound muddy. The only thing right now is my A50 only projects sound in the right side and not the left. YouTube music and JetAudio free did not give me this issue. I also reinstalled the app and cleared the cache to no avail. Any assistance is appreciated. Edit: I eventually found the balance was set to 100.🤔

1 ★ This WAS a fantastic audio player. Now, it's a broken mess. Can't add to or edit playlists anymore. The equalizer and audio settings are not as accessible from the song as they used to be. Sad that I payed for the app and plug-ins. I'll hold out hope that the devs fix the problems but until then I'll have to use a different player. UPDATE: Still can't add to or edit playlists! UPDATE 2: Months later still broken. Do not buy!!

4 ★ Still love sound. UI really sucks. The EQ and sound adjustments are excellent. But, you need to be able to exit the app with the back button. The app, NOT back out of the storage and file where the music is located like a file manager. Hate having to open the menu and select "exit" to leave and close the app. Would like to see the Thumbnails of files when in "folder" mode. PLEASE!!!

2 ★ Used to like this app, but now it doubles up my playlist and shows them with 0 songs, but if i open another music app my playlists are there with all the songs that are supposed to be in them. I feel like its the way the app interact with storage is causing the issue. Please fix, its been more than a year. I like the app, but this issue is very annoying!!
