Description
JBL engineers purposely designed the JBL EON 600 speaker line to provide a fully professional, easy to use, and built-to-last portable loudspeaker system for today’s working musicians and sound providers. Featuring JBL’s advanced waveguide technology, JBL designed and manufactured transducers, the latest technologies in cabinet materials and wireless DSP control via Bluetooth, the JBL EON 600-series delivers the extraordinary quality of a high-end studio monitor in a powerful portable PA.
NOTE: Due to improvements in the application infrastructure, users of the app before version 1.34 may need to create new settings. Version 2.0 is built on a new, improved code base for better performance. Users should reset their EON Speakers before using this version of the app. If a speaker is still linked to the old app, it may not be able to connect to the new app.

4 ★ If you get a simple Bluetooth adapter then you can stream music it's really good and simple way to work around the streaming issue
1 ★ Opened app and can no longer connect to two speakers that are just one year old, it seems jbl has not made a very good app and offer no support on the app
5 ★ As the description says in the what's new in this version, each and every bullet point is damn true. Note: As mentioned in the description, perform a factory reset of the speaker. To restore the factory settings, press and hold the "EQ +" and "Boot" buttons on the rear panel of the speaker and turn on the speaker. Press and hold until all the LEDs are on and then leave. After the speaker starts press Sync button to wake up Bluetooth in the speaker.
5 ★ Love the speakers, love the app! I've been reading all of the negative reviews & all I have to say is "DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU PURCHASE!!!" What the Hell is wrong with you Cry Babies? I read one stupid review complaining that the Bluetooth doesn't stream music. No shite you DUMBASS! Freaking download the manual & read up on the item before you buy it. What a pack of IDIOTS!
5 ★ Will not connect and find speakers unless your device location is ON !!!!!!!! Thanks to the tip by Stephen Daly in the reviews! JBL take note! >>> This info should be part of your video on connecting to the speakers. Beat my head against the wall for days and tried multiple android devices and multiple resets. Would not connect to any of them, turned on device location and BAM! They instantly showed up and connected. Thanks again Stephen Daly. I was about to go buy a pair of Mackies instead.
1 ★ Installed the app, set the speakers as shown on the demo. Went back to the app and it wouldn't find a speaker, then after fooling with it for an hour it found the speaker, and I was once ahain able to taise the volume of the speaker the app had locked in a very low position. Uninstalled, and will not use again. As it caused my speaker to be locked in a very low volume, then would not connect and let me reset, even with factory reset on the speaker.
1 ★ Have had an EON610 for about 3 months and had not been able to connect with the EON Connect app with an Android based tablet that has all the required specs. The speakers BT did show in the Androids OS when scanned, so I knew it was active and working. Playing with it a couple nights ago I somehow got lucky (no idea what I did differently) and the app connected and displayed the speaker. There was a firmware update available, so I accepted it. It took a short while to complete through to 100% and at the end was prompted to 'restart'(?). I cycled the power and attempted to connect to the app and got nothing. As with another reviewer here, the BT sync LED only stays on for a short time (time on varies). The speakers BT is no longer seen by the Androids OS when pressing the sync button. While the rest of the speaker appears to function correctly, the firmware update seems to have killed the BT functionality and with it any means to reflash the firmware by the user. The speaker should have been designed with a USB connection to facilitate direct firmware flashing by a PC or Mac. Yes I've tried the 'Factory Reset' numerous times, cleared the tablets cache, different BT settings in tablet, killing the tablets and nearby WiFi. Leaves me with a bad taste for JBL products. I hope users have better luck with the new EON One Compact control app.
1 ★ Requires that I use a tablet to operate the Bluetooth as trying to pair with the speakers through my Droid Turbo 2 won't allow it! Really JBL? c'mon, I spent hundreds of dollars for each speaker and you can't update the app to allow cellphones access to the app?? Really makes me want to exchange for the competitions! Update app to allow my cellphone to access the Bluetooth and I'll up my rating!
3 ★ This app has much potential, most of which is not realized. The good: A) 4 hard coded EQ presets selectable st back of EON spkr. B) you can control up to 4 separate units. C) The app allows custom EQs per device. The bad: 1) spkr power off breaks blue tooth link. Requires button push on back of unit after pwr on. 2) only master volume is app controlled. Input channels and switching line / mic levels is manual. 3) This is bad for permanent install, OK for temp/traveling. 4) pairing diffcult
2 ★ App was working fine but now glitching and freezing. I deleted it and reinstalled it and its still doing the same thing. I also want to know howcome there is never any updates for this app or never anything new added. maybe you can add a bluetooth music feature or maybe add in other eq presets without having to manually fiddle with all the frequency eq buttons in the app.
1 ★ very unprofessional app. in some phone can't even connect (reset didn't help). when I did connect, i found out that this app is far from being user friendly. as other mentioned here, this app doesn't meets basic standards. no updates, no bug fix and no one even react to comments here, this says everything...
1 ★ well i have always had a great deal of love for jbl sound so i bought the eon 615 but i have to say this app sucks ass !!! it wont lwt me log on but half the time so i could never use it in a proffessional setting . Sad i really wanted to use the speaker but probably will return due to this issue. If the speaker also had the eq+ settings on the speaker itself then i wouldnt need the app Oh and also i just looked at the other reviews of this app and the oveall rating should be a one star not 5
1 ★ Worst app ive ever seen. doesnt connect to speaker. should be called eon disconnect. bad user interface and often freezes, crashes or doesnt respond. there are very limited features, and most of them arent very useful.
5 ★ ATTENTION ! turn on the phones location settings along with bluetooth then scan for the speakers within the app. My Eons appeared straight away. hope this helps . Thumbs it up if so.
1 ★ This app does not play music through your speakers. It only controls volume which means you need a wired connection. Why have an app then?
