With KnockOn you can easily wake or lock your phone with a simple double tap on screen!
The double tap to wake and double tap to sleep feature can be used seperately.
You can also use the homescreen widget to turn screen off if you like!

HOW TO UNINSTALL:
Remove device admin rights first or click "uninstall" in the app settings
If you use the double tap to wake feature the app will display a black screen, so the screen is actually on.
The battery consumption may be higher when activated! Do not use with LCD screens, OLED only!!
On Marshmallow Google disabled locking screen if you use fingerprint unlock. Just activate fingerprint mode and use double tap to sleep without problems.
This app uses the Device Administrator permission.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an application to collect component usage statistics
Declaring the permission implies intention to use the API and the user of the device can grant permission through the Settings application.

4 ★ those people complaining about battery drain please read through the sentence again. it is meant for amoled display for double tap to wake because anoled doesnt consume power when the display is black..other than that it is a great apps but sometimes scrolling too fast might cause double tap to sleep
4 ★ Installed the app on Pixel and it works with the fingerprint scanner.. My question is When I double tap to turn the screen off the screen goes black but the three buttons at the bottom of the screen stay on for 10 seconds then goes off. So it appears that the screen is going black then off after 10 seconds. If this is the case, and can it be fixed to truly turn the screen off without just going black and the bottom button delay?
5 ★ I know my phone model is not popular but I still want to point out that the app works very well, makes my phone feels like my old LG G3. This feature is almost a must for those have ever used it. Your app is very efficient, thanks.
1 ★ Before this app was good. But after update app is no work. When I do install and go to the give permition page then my phone is tightly hang.. I sad,cause it is not work my phone..
2 ★ Unlike anything else I've tried, this app at least activates the screen when I double tap it. But it doesn't work with the smart lock, i.e. I have to enter the PIN every time.
5 ★ It works like a charm on my Lenovo Vibe K5+. Installed it and after proper accessibility permissions in settings it creates a simple off shortcut and also enables double tap to wake up on lock screen. A must have feature for all those who wish to save the power button of their devices. Before this I was using wireless Usb mouse to awake the screen !
3 ★ Great app. Works okay with note 5. I notice that i have to knock 4 times just to wake it up. Maybe if it could fix that then it would have more rating.
2 ★ Annoying... I downloaded bc it advertised triple tap... actually doesn't (have to pay to unlock it). All it had to do was specify which settings are pro like other apps do in Description to save ppl like me the time and effort)

1 ★ This has pretty much ruined my phone. Everytime i attempt to Uninstall, android force closes. Have to format my phone just to remove it
3 ★ There should be an option to turn the screen on when a call is recieved, otherwise the incoming call displays on the stock popup, not the full screen. Also, the LED notifications are disabled when this app is active.

1 ★ My phone won't respond to my taps after the app requested for access on apps data (usage stats) in android security settings. Help please! Don't ever download this app!!!! I'm using xperia xa. I don't know what happened, I can wake my phone but I can't restart it, power it off. Help please!
4 ★ Doesn't lock phone when you use it, this is vital for me, since I want to use finger print unlock, will be checking power use of app and update review, FYI I suspect you need root for 100 percent functionality
