Jamrud is a rock band originating from Indonesia, first formed in 1984 in Cimahi, West Java under the name Jamrock. Jamrud since its formation was formed by Azis Mangasi Siagian (guitar), Ricky Teddy (bass) and Krisyanto (vocals) and is known as a successful music group carrying rock music as popular music in Indonesia in the 1990s.

Background
Before becoming Jamrud, Jamrock's initial formation consisted of Azis Mangasi Siagian (guitar), Ricky Teddy (bass), Agus (drums), and Oppi (vocals), besides them, Budhy Haryono, a former GIGI drummer, had also been a member of the band Jamrock. Success

Ningrat's album made history by winning five AMI Award 2000 was truly extraordinary for a rock group.

The success of Ningrat's album made Log Zhelebour bring the Jamrud recording in Studio 301 Sydney, Australia and released the Sydney album 090102 (2002) by recording spectacular sales of nearly one million copies with the hit song My Time Bath and Happy Birthday which is still popular today and everyone sung to celebrate a birthday. This album won awards as the Best Rock Group AMI Award 2002 and Gen-B 2002, Jamrud still rules the recording industry and the performance industry with the most expensive honor.

The success they achieved cannot be separated from an unexpected event. In August 1999, Fitrah Alamsyah died from an overdose of illegal drugs, followed by Sandy Handoko who died in October 2000. News of their death shocked the Indonesian music industry at that time. Sandy Handoko's position was then replaced by Suherman Husin. While Fitrah Alamsyah in the formation was not replaced by anyone. Because, before his death, he advised, "If I die, you cannot replace me (in one formation)".
