This app needs three permissions, first permission is "Phone permission" which will pause the app when there is an incoming voice call during the audio.
The second permission is "Photos and videos permission" which is able to download MP3 files to the phone.
And the last permission is Notification Permission which can be seen for Android 13 users. It will show up the heads up notification while listening the audio.

3 ★ I downloaded because I wanted to be able to listen to the Bible while multitasking. Also, I wanted a Bible that had the Apocrypha as well as a 'voice' that was tolerable. The voice is ok but unfortunately the Apocrypha has no audio. Will this be addressed? Otherwise, my search continues...... I understand the ads (as the app is free and requires sponsorship) but they are distracting. Maybe they could be placed at the bottom of the page.

2 ★ This is pretty neat!😀 The reason I rate a 2 is because some books aren't complete.🤔 Like Psalms should have 150 chapters, but it only has 50.🙄 Other than that it's Ok.👌
1 ★ narrator makes too many mistakes, leaving out or reading words wrong. Deuteronomy 10:20 it reads: him shalt thou 'serve'. The narrator says: him shalt thou 'fear'. This is NOT the first error I have heard. I have had this app for years BUT you can't rely on the accuracy of what the narrator is saying. I just did the latest update on the app and it is still saying incorrect words.
3 ★ This Bible app has just about everything you want programmed into it except no pause, so if you have to stop in the middle of a long chapter, you will have to start at the beginning again when you hit play again...bit frustrating.
5 ★ I'm extremely happy with this app. It provides me not only with the original King James version, it gives me real satisfaction in how the Word of God is transmitted to my soul as food for salvation. Thanks to our Lord Jesus for this app. May more blessings from God be yours.
1 ★ The narrator speeds through the verses, hardly giving the listener time to understand what was just said, and hardly a nod at observing punctuation stops and pauses. It is like listening to someone speed through radio frequencies where all you hear is a garbled and unintelligible babble.

5 ★ Awesome Bible App! It's a great addition to every Bible study and a great resource when you need an encouraging word. I like that you can download the Scriptures and listen to them on the train on the way to work. It's a blessing to have this app! ☺
3 ★ Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for this beautiful app the best Bible app ever. If I may have a little suggestion is that there are ads running through this app which are very annoying. The ads are to download other items please lose the ads. Then I will give you a five gladly Godless
