5 ★ Many needed features are here including podcast specific speed. It would be great to improve the alarm feature more including an ability to start at the newest podcast based on the settings for that podcast (currently it just resumes at the last episode that was being listened to). Also if there is an error with that episode, proceed to the next episode (newer or older depending on what was the setting).
5 ★ I've tried multiple podcast apps over the last few years and this is my clear favourite. The UI is simple, uncluttered and very responsive and it does what I need it to do without charging a monthly subscription Download and play podcasts. Strong recommend
5 ★ Version 21.6.17R (the current version as of 6/17/2021) fixed a very inconvenient bug on version 21.6.16R that wouldn't allow me to listen to any podcast over Bluetooth. I reported the problem to the developer yesterday and the developer responded back today and pushed this fix. Now it's working with my Bluetooth earbuds again.
1 ★ After a few months of use, we are bombarded with adverts that are added by the app. Of course, none of this is edited so they drop mid-sentence and mid-word. Gonna move to a new app. They are not added by the podcast. The added adverts are in a different language than the podcast episodes.
1 ★ constantly buggy and won't ever stop bothering you for reviews. half the time the background widget crashes and affects the rest of your apps. the dropdown menu is always breaking. everything about it is truly terrible user experience wise. Galaxy S10. switching away soon
3 ★ too many changes to the interface that show up too often, but otherwise it's very good Just when things are going great, suddenly they a *great idea* to *improve* the interface. You just have to learn to live with it.
3 ★ I love the setup and how I can easily add a podcast, create a Playlist, control what downloads and how long things download, but the app crashes all the time. It is super annoying.
4 ★ Great app only thing I wish I coud change is .... disable the mute on volume decrease 'you have to highlite the screen to increase the volume again.... Also the messages banners it thows out... covers the media player controls Thanks
4 ★ Over all this is a good app. It has a lot of features, some easy to find & use, other a little hard to find. My biggest concern is that it is heavy on my battery.
1 ★ Downloads won't play! Yet again, following an update downloaded pods won't play "cannot play the download file", beyond annoying, loads qued up but won't play...

5 ★ the only podcast app you will ever need. the UI isn't the most modern but that's not really a bad thing once you learn it's quirks.
5 ★ New review: had trouble with an update that caused podcasts not to play. The 6/17 update seemed to fix the issue.. back to being a five-star app!
