App permissions

Aztech IP Cam 0.2.2.6 APK requires following permissions:

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

5 ★ Setup the camera on my Android phone (S3) very easily. Connected via cable to enable wifi and very quickly got wifi working as well. Also an easy install of the app to view on an iPhone 5. Only issue I had was minor, having to fiddle around with the app to change the password. Other than that, everything was straightforward for me. Note, this was only for enabling basic features of adding and viewing the camera.

1 ★ 2 Mar 2014 - Lousy product and customer service. Image not sharp and apps not working up to expectation. Are you improving or let it be with so many negative comments? Do you know what is service recovery? 1 May 2014 - still no improvement. You should stop selling the products.

2 ★ (1) Initial use i always getting black screen - zero loading even when the cam status reads "online". This issue got a little better after i chg the video quality (on app) to the lowest. But this defeat the purpose of live feed when everything is pixelated (2) the replay of recorded videos from event list is no good. Terribly slow actually. Even when i am connected to fiber internet. Highly recommend to add a video scroll to allow app users like me to control which part of the video file i want to see

1 ★ Now the phone app shuts down when I want to view...:-(( Definitely there is a bug in this app! I cannot even open the app after I installed it on my Samsung S3. Epic Failure now. :-( Pls revert to previous version...this version is a failure.

2 ★ Its keep prompting me "unknown device's. Oh my God... it is recommended by my friends and horrible experience. Its only connected once and can't detect anymore! What happen! Please fix it ASAP.

1 ★ Im using the WIPC403 The biggest issue I have with the app is the flip&mirror function because I can't get it to work at all. What is the point in making it possible to mount on a ceiling if the app can't even flip the video upright? PLEASE FIX THIS IN THE NEXT UPDATE. The software needs to be tested to be fully functional with all devices before being released to the public. Anybody with the slightest common sense would know that.

5 ★ Works fine. Only a little bit lagged although the internet speed is fast. Maybe I should use other ddns rather than using aztech default ddns. Keep up the good work!

1 ★ Wireless cameras are usually mounted on the ceiling hence upside down. There is no option to flip the video display on the app, surely this cannot be too hard to do? This is a basic requirement. I get dizzy everytime i look at the video, bummer.. fix this asap!

3 ★ I am using this application since some time. Most of my issues are related to the cams loosing connnection after rebooting the router and we have to reboot the cams to connect again, and not the app. The cams are not good but the app is ok.

1 ★ Hi guys, do u have any other app to use instead of using the original app from Aztec? I bought Aztec HD480 webcam. can't view most of the time. Tried all setting but most of the time cannot view only got sounds no image. If u have other app, please share. I totally give up of Aztec products. Very disappointed on you.
