5 ★ Edit: Quick developper response, and they fixed the tax issue. Great app, great devs, i highly recommend invoiceninja! Great app, but it doesn't calculate taxes if there's more than one tax, such as PST and GST (In Canada). If that gets fixed, it's easily 5 stars, however in its current state, it's not of much use. Will update this review in the future if this is fixed. Other than that it's a great app! I love it.
2 ★ I have invoice ninja installed on a hosted server, I can login through the Web, but this app just won't login at all. Always get a 404 error The issues seemed to have resolved itself and everything seems to be working with myself hosted system. I will update again once I have fully used the app and got familiar with it. Looking good so far. After reviewing the app for 24hours now I have to say that it just doesn't do what it should. Changing tax amount on the server means you have to delete all your data, even then the app just screws up and won't sync properly. Sadly it's not an app I can use at all.
5 ★ Pretty much the only invoice app where I have received great service from the developers. It's free. It has no restrictions like others. No advertising. The only difference with premium version is a branding removal which isn't obtrusive in any way and which I do not mind as more people should be using this system in any case!!!
5 ★ Best invoicing system for a tradesman. I have it installed on my server and can access it whenever I want. There is one issue though, I can't seem to see PDF files on my phone (Samsung Note 8). It just shows me code on google or a browser, and doesn't allow a pdf reader app to open it. I would really appreciate if you guys looked into this.
5 ★ I use the self-hosted version of Invoice Ninja and this mobile app version is a great compliment. The setup is very easy and certainly makes viewing invoices convenient. Although I have no need to create invoices via the mobile app, it's nice to know that I can do it. The mobile version pretty much follows the web version which is nice. It's obvious the developer put a lot of thought and effort into this app.
1 ★ I can no longer even create invoices within the app. Samsung Galaxy S20.
5 ★ Brilliant invoicing system particularly if you need recurring invoices. i spent a long time researching the market to replace our in house system which required manually sending invoices and found this which does all this and more automatically from the cloud. I'm often away from home and the office working at a client's site but I can still manage invoicing in a timely manner using this app. Highly recommended.
5 ★ I had some issues to log in. After cleaning the cache via web browser, I was able to log in successfully. What a beautiful app design. So easy to work with this intuitive work flow. Such a great compliment to already the best invoicing app for freelancers, and small businesses. Nothing I tried comes even close to this. Thank you so much to everyone involved!
4 ★ Good service and app. The app is less useful then online i feel because you can't set up recurring invoices via the app so I had to go to the site online and do so. But from there I can mark payments and see invoices ect from the app. Overall good product especially being free. They do offer a pay upgrade but dont see anything to tell you what that includes or even the cost. I'm sure if I look though I can find it just would think it would be there on the page or something.
3 ★ I'm having issues sending invoices. It seems that while I can login to the web interface on a desktop computer and create and send invoices just fine, the app however seems to be attempting to send invoices independently?!? The app generates an error when attempting to send but unfortunately there is no log for me to view on the app and there are no settings to speak of. I would have thought the app would just relay the invoice to the web server and then the web server would send it; guess not.
5 ★ I spent three days looking for Projects - tasks -invoices management for freelancers..... This app is the only one I found with all the features I need. The surprise is that none of the promoting blogs added it in its lists. Really this app is great and deserve to be accounted in benchmarking
2 ★ When using the Cellphone app on android, and you select the PDF option to view the invoice, while in the app, the app crashes and just closes. Happens on multiple devices. I did update the app to the latest version, still no difference. Samsung Galaxy S8 plus & Samsung A5 devices, same problem.
4 ★ Works pretty well. I'd love to see an inventory feature with cost vs sale price. One issue I have with the Android app here is when trying to view an invoice pdf it just presents a white page. Self hosted. Not sure why. Maybe an issue to do with Phantom JS which I still can't get working after troubleshooting for weeks. Hopefully Phantom JS goes in the next update. Anyway thanks for your immensely good work!
5 ★ I have been using Invoice Ninja for a bit now and am running the Self Hosted version on my VPS server and use the Droid App for when im on the go and need to add a cash customer payment or need to enter a new Customer and get a quote out. Whats truly great about the "IN" App is that unlike so many other Apps, it does not just provide some functionality such as the most used1 options but instead it provides all functions. Excellent Product!
4 ★ Update: Support got right on the issue reported below in my first review. The app now loads my data and so far it seems to be working well. I gave all the major screens a check and so far I like it better than the legacy app. I'll post more when I've had time to use it more thoroughly. ==================== Lets me log in but never loads any data on any screen. Went to Settings/Refresh Data and got "An error occured. 403: API requires pro plan". Play store listing says nothing about plan requirements.
