National anthem of the Dominican Republic
The national anthem of the Dominican Republic is the patriotic musical composition that represents the country and, along with the flag and shield, has the status of a national symbol. His letter was written by Emilio Prud'Homme and the musical score of the anthem was created by Master Jose Reyes in 1883, who asked Prud'Homme to write a patriotic verses to accompany their compasses.
This hymn was first performed on 17 August 1883.1 in the halls of the Respectable Lodge No. Esperanza. 9.2 localized in the House of Gargoyles, Calle Las Mercedes No. 4, in the city of Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic. The second city where they could hear the musical notes of the Dominican national anthem was Azua.
