Download the latest Weather Stations application, version 1.10, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Weather app is developed by Ivan Gorinov and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 1.10, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
Station list is sorted by distance from the current location.
Current observation (METAR) and forecast (TAF) can be downloaded for the selection station from the NOAA site.
The weather station data downloaded from the developer's site on the first run, and can be updated later on request.
App permissions
Weather Stations 1.10 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to open network sockets.

5 ★ Excellent app delivers what it says. Actual (METAR) & forecast (TAF) weather, in aviation format with option to translate to plain (english) language. Desired airport must be entered in 4-letter ICAO-code (case sensitive: use capitals only) or can be selected from a database. Once location has been acquired through GPS an online database with nearby airports can be downloaded (select "Update" in menu). No data-snooping, tracking nor ads, the decent way. Happy user for several years, thank you.
1 ★ no data.say 'this app use...gnss' and something more and nothing else. mac i dont have a gps sensor so...its no use to me

5 ★ But please make the "translate" option set to true by default or at least store it between every app start - almost noone wants to read this symbolic garbage from the airport's. We aren't all pilots.
5 ★ Excellent lightweight app. Does EXACTLY what it says it will do. Would be very nice to have a Settings topic where one could choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Nicely done!
