Icelandair 4.3.2 APK requires following permissions:

5 ★ Heavily relied on this app for my first trip to Europe. Icelandair gives out updates quickly on the flight, layover, and gate numbers where to go. Filling out APIS and 24-hour check-in was easy. I had no bad experiences yet from it.

2 ★ Works well until it doesn't. My boarding pass disappeared right before boarding and never reappeared. Only showed my connecting flight boarding pass. Same thing happened to the friend I was traveling with. Make sure you screenshot your passes so when they disappear you'll still have it.

2 ★ Boarding pass crashed as we were boarding. We checked in. We got our boarding passes, which we used to go through two security doors. As we were trying to board, the app crashed saying we never checked in. Obviously the staff could tell something went wrong so we managed to board but it was scary experience. Even the staff said they had no idea what had happened. Other than that, everything works smoothly.

1 ★ This app gives incorrect info about your flight. It sent alert that I had a flight cancelation & gave me no way to change to the new flight. It sent alert about a schedule change to a flight that Iwasn't booked on, & nearly gave me a heart attack telling me we were leaving in a few hours - instead of the next day. It sent multiple alerts to check in now. It was a day too early to check in. The countdown said we were leaving tomorrow when we were leaving today. Created stress.

1 ★ Booking has been showing in the app since booking months ago. It's now disappeared and when I try to 'add booking' with the correct details that work in Icelandair website, the app says 'no booking found' This app is therfore useless and I would never trust it for boarding pass display etc.

1 ★ Horrible app. After I login it prevents me from making changes to my flight. I can't select seats or purchase a second checked suitcase. It keeps telling me that I'm a Bot. It won't let me change anything to my existing flight booking. Horrible phone app.

3 ★ For anyone who keeps on getting captcha fails at login. The login screen was hiding the captcha submit button as a result of the captcha frame height being too short. This wasn't immediately apparent. I eventually realized that I had to drag the captcha frame around in its container to reveal about 2px of the hidden captcha submit button at the bottom, at which point I could trigger the button to clear captcha. Hopefully someone else finds this helpful.

1 ★ Buy your tickets through this app if you want to be charged twice 🙄🙄🙄.....avoid it! Eventually got the refund from the stolen second charge 🙄.....should also note that booking through the app doesn't add the flight details to the app, it's a manual process after you purchase. Still not sure why they bother to have an app which does so little 🤔

2 ★ Stays on the splash screen for like 30 seconds while it's loading to start up. If I open another app while in the check in process (like to get my passport number) and open this app again it restarts the check in. It's like using a 10 year old app, ridiculous from the biggest airline in Iceland.

1 ★ App notifications began 24 hours prior to when they should have began (e.g. check-in 48 hours before flight, your flight is boarding a bit over 24 hours before flight). Furthermore, once I was overseas, the app alerted me that I can check in 24 hours before my flight, but then would not let me check in (employees at the check-in kiosk said that you can't check-in until 3:20 before boarding). I will not recommend Icelandair, and if you must use them, do not utilize the app as it is bugged .

1 ★ Consistently doesn't seem to know when flights actually happen. Case in point, our flight for tomorrow currently shows as a past flight, and i must readd the booking everytime i want to view the details. On our flight last week, gate information never updated. When our flight was delayed, the app never updated and wouldn't display our boarding passes because it thought the flight already left.

1 ★ Quite possible the worst site I have ever been on. When it asks you to put in days you wish to fly, it doesn't not tell when there is actual flights. So you have to keep selecting new days without success. You need to put on when there are actual flights. Surely a large company and forward thinking country can do better than this. It is not an easy site to work through.

1 ★ My flight details keep dissapearing from the app, even though I just logged in and added them again. They will dissapear on the next time the app is opened. The Boarding pass page keeps bringing up additionaal info and then crashing

4 ★ I used this app for checking in and looking up flight detailes while traveling. Good structure and useful push notifications. Everything I needed for this trip! It didn't show the acurate ETA, but other than that would recommend.

3 ★ The app seems to work fine (although I've not yet used it to board a flight) but there seem to be two instances of the app in my app list, and if I try to remove one it removes both. Bit odd.
