Ratings and Reviews

3 ★ A learning curve, for sure. To be fair, first time having a smart watch- and it's hard to separate what's due to the app, what's due to the watch, and what's due to me. I can't get texts on my watch, but phone calls, emails and other app messages all show up. I constantly have a Zepp notification telling me to keep the app running. And the weather appears in Celsius on my watch, but I would prefer Fahrenheit.

2 ★ I find the sleep and step trackers to be very inaccurate. Many times I'll get up and go to the bathroom, sometimes twice a night, and it will register me as sleeping through the night. Also, the step counter doesn't work unless the wrist the tracker is on is completely unobstructed. So if I'm holding my phone, or pushing a grocery cart nothing registers.. very frustrating

3 ★ I want to love this but it is not the most user friendly. Watch is not very reliable when recording free diving. The app does not show all the information on freediving and when it uploads to Strava it shows extra but shows it incorrectly. I've sent multiple feedbacks through the app and get no response. Most annoying is that they keep trying to get me to subscribe to different things. Not going to pay for something that doesn't work right.

2 ★ I'm a Senior Citizen, and I wanted a smart watch with GPS for hiking in the Mountains (Oregon), and to make sure that I walk enough each day. I worked with computer software for about three decades but I'm behind the curve on all of the things that are now common, such as smart watch programming, and information available on the Internet, available only when we know what keywords to use for what we're looking for. The screen locations are still confusing to me.

3 ★ Okay, so I like the watch, but the app is WAY off when counting steps. I work in fast food, so I know I walk over 8,000 per shift (from using last smart watch), yet this one hardly hits 5,000 per shift.... I'm not sure if this is the watch or the app at fault for recording the steps, but PLEASE FIX! 🙏🏻 Otherwise, it's not that bad. It's just annoying because I use my watch for counting steps along with seeing texts/calls

4 ★ Always says it couldn't connect after some hours of use, so i miss the notification frequently. I notice it happens more often when connected to Bluetooth for calls. Update: logout my zepp my account, and factory reset the ⌚ then create a new account with my email. When pairing the watch i did it manually (not the QR), proceed to connect to Bluetooth for calls, and everything is fix. I test it by walking away from the phone until it disconnets, coming back and see if it reconnect ✅

1 ★ The watch will not synch to my Amazon alexa account. It only keeps notifying me that the app needs updated. When I attempt to update the app, it states that it is already the newest version. Online it says to factory reset and then redo set up, so I did. It still won't synch. This was the main reason I chose this watch. It is very frustrating.

1 ★ Update... now weather function is gone. I can be bugged by notifications that tell me the obvious, my watch is connected to my phone. But as for a useful notification, should my watch lose its connection, doesn't exist. The first is of little value and the second is critical. This makes no sense. My smart watch is barely more than a watch when not connected.

4 ★ The watch is great, but the app is a little buggy. It took time to get it all set up and sometimes it seems to hang while syncing. I wish there was a way to record the time I go to bed because it seems to take a long time to register I'm asleep. I know I wasn't awake for an hour after I went to bed last night, but my watch thinks I was. That said the watch is fantastic and I do feel like they continue to try to improve the app.

2 ★ this is my intro into the smart watch/fitness world. honestly I am not impressed by the app at all. I try to connect to alexa with this app and it doesn't work, or I have to restart my phone and watch. I uninstalled, reinstalled and still have connectivity issues. watch works great in tracking my steps and sleeping patterns well enough but all other functionality from this app leave me wishing I never got this. amazon is the great value brand of the digital world.

5 ★ I had the watch for about 2 years. I choose it because of the battery life, with my daily use I have to charge it about every 4 weeks or so. I enjoy the odometer count and heart rate monitor but I do want to point out a discrepancy between the watch and app in regards to this. The heart rate zones are not labeled the same, which makes it difficult to distinguish what's what.

5 ★ Updated: love the app and love the Bip 5. All issues fixed and it's great for everything I need. Old review: changes are very pretty and promising, but the data is all wrong. Shows sleep data for just the last hour or two of my sleep, useless if data is wrong. Notify for Amazfit is correct every time given the same data.

3 ★ Switched from Fitbit and I'm loving the watch, but the app is just ok. I wish this app had a widget, as I like to see quick data on my home screen, and I can't find a place to track my water intake (you would think that would be a very simple feature). I know this is relatively new so hopefully improvements are to come!

1 ★ There are many bugs in the sleep tracking. The system marks me as awake if I roll over to a new position, even though I am asleep. If I wake up to go to the bathroom, the system often does not track my sleep when I go back to sleep. When I awaken, for example at 9 AM after a restful deep sleep, the system only tracks my sleep until the time I got up to use the bathroom, let's say about 5 AM. If I add the extra sleep time manually, the system often erases my deep sleep time. Very frustrating!

2 ★ It is very slow to sync to the phone. For a smart watch, you would think it's smart enough to know if you're wearing it. Tired of alerts, "can't connect to amazfit watch." Should be smart enough if not on your wrist, then maybe it's out of range on your dresser upstairs. Think people in the software for these things.
