Description

Easy automatic capturing, rich manual controls and creative camera modes make HTC Camera an ideal all-arounder for on-the-go photographers. From ISO controls to white balance, you can always create the right mood for your photos and videos. You can even add new cameras to try and remove the ones you don’t use. Organizing your cameras lets you swipe to switch between the ones you use most often with ease. If you delete one of the default camera modes, you can always choose to add it back later. Phones featuring the EYE experience, like the One (M8) or Desire EYE, get unique ways to capture memorable moments. Create wide-angle or 360-degree panoramas, shoot a photo booth-style filmstrip, crop yourself into a landscape or capture with the selfie and main cameras at the same time. If you have the new HTC One M9, you get the EYE experience and even more out of HTC Camera. The Raw Camera mode lets you capture Digital Negative files (.DNG) that you can adjust using professional tools. Check out the Bokeh camera, too, which gives your photos a soft, out-of-focus background and a sharp, in-focus subject. When recording video, try filming with 4K resolution for high-quality results. 2 ★ Since I updated my camera the quality has changed. Before when I take photos it's so clear and the color is perfect, now it's so bright and the quality seems like of those cheap phones. When capturing photos at night the lights tend to be so bright that you won't even recognize what's in the photo. I would like to restore my old camera back please.

1 ★ I am using HTC desire 826 and loved the front camera before installing this update. But after this update thre camera has lost everything that was good about it. I can't touch and focus any more while using the front camera and all my selfies are mostly blur. Also many options are not available when using the selfie mode. Plz do something about it.

3 ★ I love the camera on my Desire Eye, one of the better phone cameras imo, but recently I haven't been able to use the front camera. About a two- three weeks ago it'd black screen in snapchat and I'd have to do a soft reset and it'd be fine, now I can't even open the selfie camera in the camera application. I had it working a couple days ago for about 20-30 minutes then it stopped again.

2 ★ HTC DESIRE 826 (Indian version). Initially the camera was great, but after the updates, the photo quality has been affected and auto focus works very rarely. Tried re installing, the older version didn't have the auto focus issue much. New one still has it. Even a cheap mobile can focus easily. Losing trust in this brand!

1 ★ You guys need to straighten up as a company. It's like you want to fail. The m8 camera was actually decent but you go and change the quality from average to worse as if to make everything else in the phone seem better. If you take a look at the reviews on every other play store app, the 1 star rating is always in the top 3. Please fix the camera and everything else that was fine when we bought the phone before you go bankrupt. Thank you.

2 ★ After update thers no those effects,no icon in the camera menu. I downgrade the cam and its ok now. But please check that and fix it. And why only m8 and butterfly 2 own zoe mode? Thats the best mode in the camera and you erased it for mighty desire eye?

1 ★ On my camera, all other modes other than the "panoramic" and "camera" modes have suddenly stopped working. I was using the "selfie" mode, demonstrating the light on the face of the phone to someone , then I clicked the home button. I went to open it seconds later and all other modes except "camera" and "panoramic" have vanished. I've rebooted my phone, did a recovery, reinstalled the HTC camera update, updated all apps, aleared the camera apps cache , etc still no other capturing modes...

2 ★ Really disappointed that they took away the filters on the camera. Would not call this version an upgrade. All my friends' iPhone pictures are far nicer. Hope you reinstate and improve filters on the camera app soon. Preferably before Christmas. It be nice to have a few decent pics of my own instead of piggybacking of other people's.

2 ★ My phone was working fine but then suddenly it's not working. It won't let me access it and I've sent dozens of error reports. The report says it has crashed. I went to where I bought it from and they said to restart ur phone. I had to delete most of my photos and transfer the remaining. I have restarted it and updated the app but it is still not working :( will give 5 stars if it is fixed.

1 ★ Only HTC can make an okay camera worse. What happened to all the features of the duo camera for the M8? They are virtually non-existent as far as I can tell. How can you call something an update when it really isn't? Ever wonder why HTC is always playing second fiddle to the likes of Samsung? This camera app is a prime example.

4 ★ This is a nice easy to use app. But the HTC M9 camera is a real piece of crap. The 8mp camera on my HTC DNA took nice clear hd pictures, but the 20MP cam on the M9 takes forever to focus, and the picture quality makes it hardly worth using. The DNA was a way better phone don't buy a M9.

2 ★ Day by day my Desire Eye becoming as boring and ugly as an iPhone. Why is HTC removing features? What happened to live filters? Why can't I apply blur when taking a shot? It sucks to go from having unique features to no features, like all other phones. Terrible service HTC. Also, where is my Live Slideshow Wallpaper?? Give that back!

1 ★ My camera can't work. A pop up screen always showed out n asked me to send the report. This is not the first time to hv this problem. I went to the HTC maintenance department before. But the same problem comes out again after two months maintenance. I don't want to reset my phone anyone. It is extremely inconvenient to recover all the data. Plz reply me asap.

1 ★ It shows time line pics, which starts to display all the pics of phone. Basically the preview link in the camera should display only those pics which are taken by the camera only. It has become useless. I have to use the gallery option to display the recent clicked pic by camera. It shows what's app, hike, and other sources pics in camera preview link.

1 ★ WHERE ARE THE FILTERS??!!! The country filter is the ONLY reason I stay w HTC phones! Pls tell me your bringing those back, I've read hundred+ reviews of people complaining about this feature being gone. I'd like a response letting me know if this feature is coming back, if not- I will be done using HTC phones.
