Description
The key features of W Box VMS Mobile surveillance application include:
• Real-time video preview of up to 16 channels
• Support for preset activation and configuration, as well as calibration for brightness
• Snapshot support
• Management of up to 256 sets of devices. Device profiles can be added / deleted / modified.
App permissions
W Box VMS 4.0.4 APK requires following permissions:
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to modify the current configuration, such as locale.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

1 ★ ... the app force closes as soon as I open it. What I really can't believe is that the update that just came out on 1/9 didn't fix the issue. When you release an update that breaks the app for 100% of its users, your immediate response needs to be to push an update that undoes whatever you tried to do in the previous version, not to try to fix whatever was causing the problem without knowing, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you've fixed the issue.
1 ★ Crashes on open. Didn't catch that in the debugging phase? My customers are not pleased. How about rereleasing the last version on Play until you work out the bugs. This is flat out unacceptable. Update added DDNS? Can't tell. Still crashes on open.
1 ★ Crashes immediately upon choosing your region. Completely and totally worthless. I would leave negative stars if I could.
1 ★ App has not worked for a couple of months. Should have purchased the actual Hikvision cameras and NVR instead of WBOX knockoffs. Sad that I have to use app from the manufacturer of the cameras rather than the one labeled for what I have. Worked fine until update and now nothing.
1 ★ Just had update and still crashes! Please go back to old version. I need this app for my job!
2 ★ App worked for viewing DVR. Unfortunately after installing it I constantly get a message on my screen saying "Network connection failed". After going through and deleting recent apps I installed it stopped after uninstalling this one. Reinstalled it and error comes up again.
1 ★ Update added a new menu asking for country. Why? After selecting country app crashes. It used to work perfectly. Please fix.
5 ★ Sounds like there was a problem with an earlier version of this app but it seems to work fine now. I am able to view multiple devices without issue

5 ★ I see people giving this app 1 star. After the update it force closes. Just uninstall and reinstall at it fixes the issue. Works perfectly.
