Home Chef 3.37.3 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

5 ★ This service has saved my sanity during pandemic quarantine! I will definitely continue even after the pandemic is finally over. The serving sizes are perfect! Many choices every week! Meals seldom repeat except during Favorites Week. I really enjoy the Oven Ready and Fast & Fresh meals. I also enjoy the options to vary both protein and vegetables to suit my personal tastes. I also like the ability to change the meal selections as many times as needed, up until just a few days before the weekly box ships. Another plus is the ability to put individual weeks on hold while I am out of town or busy with family!

4 ★ There are a few things I'd like to be added/changed. One would be to allow vegetable substitutions, or at least change up the vegetables more, I'm tired of eating brussel sprouts almost every meal. Having 2 vegetables with each meal would also be nice, there's a lot of times I'm still hungry after dinner. Breakfast and lunch options would also be awesome. Allowing 1 course meals would be helpful too, I don't like spicy but my husband does, and leftovers usually get wasted.

2 ★ The service itself is great. The app is having some serious issues lately, though. Although the same credentials log me into the website, they don't work on the app all of a sudden. And all I get by way of an explanation is a message saying that there was an error logging in and I should try again later. Force stopped the app. Same issue. Uninstalled and reinstalled... nada. Please fix this!

5 ★ Home Chef is the best! Their ingredients are superb. Meats are the best cuts and top quality. You cannot beat the price for the excellent quality and amount of food. So many options on meals. We've done four boxes already with three meals each and we haven't tried one we didn't like. The app makes ordering, customizing and browsing so easy! The app is well done, organized and easy to use.

5 ★ What a fantastic service (assuming you're in their delivery area). As a service, any issues we've had have been promptly and thoroughly handled. The food is great and the selection terrific. Plus 10% discount for military and other service personnel! As for the app itself, it does everything you need it to, without issue and without excess bloat.

1 ★ Can't log in. Note the service is good, this review is specifically for the app. For a while it worked fine, and it's a pretty good app. Then it stopped letting me log in, even though I'm using the same credentials that works fine on the website. I tried clearing the cache, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing works. Changing password doesn't help. Having a decent app doesn't do anyone any good if you can't log into it. This is super simple stuff every other app does fine

1 ★ So far my experience has been subpar. I signed up under a special. My first delivery was skipped by their system. I waited all day, only to finally notice the app says skipped. But they charged my credit card!! I messaged them for the app. That was 3 days ago. Edit: finally got a reply and they told me it was a 'glitch' in the system and applied a credit to my next order. Today my order was skipped again. Will be canceling. So disappointing and would give zero stars if I could.

1 ★ App crashes. it opened fine for the first few weeks. Now it gets stuck on the opening screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didn't work. I love the service though. it's given me a lot of different ideas and has mixed up our meal routine. Dinner night was getting pretty boring until I joined Home Chef. I just wish the app worked so I didn't have to look up the website.

2 ★ Firstly, the home chef service is great, but the app is in desperate need of some fixing. I have hardly any idea how useful this app is because I can only use it for about 45 seconds before it crashes. Then every time I open it after, it hangs on the green opening/loading screen indefinitely. Clearing cache does not help, force stopping does not help. I have to fully uninstall and reinstall the app before I can use it again for another 45 seconds. So, at the moment, the app is useless.

5 ★ Lots of reviews here on the actual service which I find to be excellent. As for the app it works great on my device. I can see the scheduled meals and quickly change them if needed and can easily skip weeks if we need from the app. I have never had any issues from the app. The layout is really simple and clean and on the rare occasion a recipe card is forgotten or damaged I can look up everything on the app. Service is great and so is the app.

3 ★ I've ordered from meal delivery services before & found them to be meh. It's worth it for the introductory price but beyond that, not so much. I've only gotten one delivery so far & I have mixed feelings. The meat was completely missing for two meals & the recipe cards were stuffed in there & torn. I was refunded for the two meals missing meat but now I have to go buy meat if I don't want to waste the rest of the food. It has potential. Great recipe options for sure. We'll see.

4 ★ App works great, no problems. Don't know what ppl are complaining about. For the price, i think Home Chef is the best value, good options of meals that aren't totally carb laden, plenty of quick cooking or minimal prep dishes, and they don't just load up on starchy veggies on every dish or pasta, as some other services do. They really have a great balance, and good packaging. Out of the services I've tried, they're across the board the best in terms of flexibility, choice, and value.

5 ★ The products we receive are top notch. The portion sizes are plentiful. We often have left overs. Instructions are well written, & easy to understand. It's easy via the app to customize your preferences (ex: low carb, no pork, dairy etc.) Most of the meals allow some type of customization. You can easily choose more or less portions. Something you can't do with some other meal delivery services. We went from dreading the planning of cooking on little time, to being eager to make a meal.

5 ★ I love Home Chef! It has taken away the dreaded "What's for dinner?" question/debate. The meals are delicious and easy to make. I like that the menu changes every week and you can skip weeks if you want to. We are spending so much less at the grocery store and have hardly any leftovers or waste which is great. The meal kits have the perfect portion for two of us. We haven't tried a meal we didn't like yet. I would highly recommend this service to anyone. Its great! You won't regret it!

5 ★ Always delivers my meals on time, I love the option to sub out for different proteins with meals and even add double portions. The app is easy to navigate and intuitive. Skipping weeks is also easy depending on your schedule. I also enjoy all the a la carte options you can add to your meal boxes whenever you want too. If there is an ingredient shortage or change they always notify you about it or sometimes will refund you the cost of the meal if they can't find a substitute for that ingredient.
