HIBOY MAX 1.2 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an application to access extra location provider commands.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ It flat out dont work. I think its just a fake app to say they have one.

3 ★ Worked fine with my HBMAX from receipt in May, until 9/2. Scooter will no longer connect via app, un/Reinstalled, and now it is asking for a LOT of permissions. Photos, meda, files, Wifi send and receive data and files, and also to Modify/delete as well as read contents of shared storage. Location and BT I can figure, but why my files and Media? There's no speakers. Roll back your update guys, this one is a dud.THE APP IS THE ONLY WAY TO TOGGLE CRUISE CONTROL, IT IS DANGEROUS TO NOT BE ABLE TO DISENGAGE IT ON FIRST USE!!! This needs fixed!

1 ★ This app is how one is supposed to access some of the features of the Hiboy Max v2. However, the Hiboy company knows that this app is non-functional and shows no interest or concern for fixing the problem. So, this app is garbage. And this garbage app makes your Hiboy Max v2 and possibly others, GARBAGE! If you haven't yet bought a Hiboy scooter, DON'T DO IT! I'm taking advantage of Amazon's return policy today. Thanks for nothing Hiboy.

4 ★ The app is good. Needs more instructions on how to successfully install BT. Seems intuitive but it's a bit redundant. The user manual has the default password as (000000) the app has password listed as (0000 or 1234). The manual is the winner in this battle. Once you connect to BT and the BT icon on the scooter stays on the app apparently it is still not connected. Of course, tried to uninstall and reinstall. Also checked several permissions settings. Finally: restarted my phone!! Worked!👍🏻

1 ★ This app is completely useless. It won't recognize my Hiboy MAX scooter even though it's correctly paired with my phone via Bluetooth. I've tried everything. It just sucks that it comes down to a crappy app not working. Get it together guys!

4 ★ App is a bit clunky but works fine on my Nexus 6p. I had trouble connecting at first but you have to give it location permission and turn on GPS or it won't work at all. Don't forget to pair the Bluetooth device in system settings, pin 000000. If you're concerned about giving it location/GPS then block its WiFi and cell data using a VPN app.

5 ★ App does not stay connected. Will connect for a few seconds then disconnect. Basically useless. Using a OnePlus 7 pro. Update 9/2/20 After latest update the app now stays fully connected to Hiboy Max. Much much better.

4 ★ With the 1.1 updates scooter would not connect with app. Had to downgrade to 1.0.3 and scooter connected with no problems.

1 ★ So far not a single one of these apps syncs up with my Hurtle Hiboy. Either the passwords don't work or it will not recognize the Bluetooth. Don't bother, this will be more frustrating than just looking down, and pushing a button a few times.

4 ★ It's good, but it can be better. I wished it was a bit more updated UI wise. It just looks a little outdated in my opinion. But other than that it's perfect so far.

3 ★ App needs improvements as well as more UI friendly navigation. For those who are experiencing not connecting error. I did too. But I found the solution. Install the app, then if you have the Bluetooth on (on your phone), pair it with the scooter (pin number 000000). The Bluetooth light on the scooter will remain lit. The scooter and phone will successfully be paired. Ok. Then on your phone, turn back off the Bluetooth. Later open the hiboy max app and turn on Bluetooth, and done! Good luck. WAGM

1 ★ I'm trying to pair it with my android phone and it doesn't do anything, I've tried uninstalling the app and install the app and doesn't want to connect, anyone else having trouble, I need help with this.

4 ★ Scooter is supper fun! Love riding it for sure! The app doesn't work though. Update it.

1 ★ Connect to phone Bluetooth but that's it. Nothing works, says disconnected from vehicle.
