Software to use your Android phone to control the Atom I helicopter by Propel RC.
App permissions
Atom I Helicopter 1.0.6 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
Allows an application to modify the current configuration, such as locale.

5 ★ Controls are sensitive but easy to master on galaxy s3. Its funny how many reviewers have crappy phones with a shaky bluetooth signal
2 ★ Couldnt get anything to work except the light. Reconnected several times but could only get one turn of rotors.
1 ★ App stopped heli went up then turned off and fell blade down onto concrete floor bending main shaft. Copter dead. Had to pay 7.00 s&h to get new parts.
3 ★ The controls are lagged by maybe a second or two tops, but other than that ive had no problems whatsoever usin this on an old smart phone..maybe the people complaining just have crappy phones
4 ★ I am using an Android Asus tablet, there is no lag, just a tip, shoot the left stick up to half to get a hover off the bat! real good fun.

2 ★ Delay between phone and heli of 1-2 sec. The dial for propellor speed has such a limited useful range of motion between off and rising that it makes flying/hovering difficult at best. Needs major improvenent but cool concept.
2 ★ The ATOM I Bluetooth RC Helo is a great idea. While the helicopter itself is of great quality, the controls via bluetooth have an appx. 1 second lag, causing precision to be an issue. Buy the Propel RC helo that comes with an actual controller. Its the same awesome helo, but with way better controls!
