Description
Your Smart R2-D2™ toy can be under your control using the Smart R2-D2™ app from Hasbro! Use the Hasbro Smart R2-D2™ app to interact with Star Wars characters, program your droid, and complete missions to help save the galaxy!
TEAM UP WITH YOUR SMART R2-D2™ TO COMPLETE INTERGALACTIC MISSIONS AND REVEAL THE CAPTURED DEATH STAR PLANS WITH THE HASBRO SMART R2-D2™ APP!
• Launch the Hasbro Smart R2-D2™ app to control Smart R2-D2™. Use the app to make R2-D2 react and move, and to change lights and sound effects.
• Open the Programming interface within the Smart R2-D2™ app to access programming blocks that will let you create programming sequences. Save those sequences within the app, and use them to complete in-App missions.
• Use the Preview feature to digitally test your program sequence.
• Use the Send to Toy button to send your program sequences to the Smart R2-D2™ toy and watch the droid complete the programmed directive.
• Select Missions to complete programming challenges. In order to fully complete Missions, the app must be connected to the Smart R2-D2™ toy.
• Complete missions to unlock individual components of the Death Star plans.
• Successfully complete all the missions to unlock the complete plans for the Death Star and save the galaxy!

1 ★ Like every other toy that requires an app, they stop supporting it and the toy becomes a junky hunk of plastic. This one was fun while it lasted but an Android update hobbled it and they've made no effort to provide an update. Truly disappointing. No more toys that use an app!
1 ★ Can you please fix the issue whatever it is. We got the toy and couldn't connect to it. It says that the application is outdated.
1 ★ After for quite sometime now my phone can no longer pair with the droid. I didn't delete this app at all jus disappointed that it suddenly stop pairing & now i can only play with it on it's own & can't control it any longer on the apps
1 ★ As with others users as the app has not been updated it is not compatible with my phone and is therefore useless. As it is no longer fit for purpose under UK consumer law some action can be taken by seller to recompense even after 3 years. Sadly for me I bough second hand.
3 ★ After installing the app on a old Samsung Galx 7 it works fine but you get only 3 stars because i could not use the app on my LG ThinQ you really should up date the app to work with newer device makes Hasbro look outdated and old and also makes a consumer wonder will you just forget about us and leave us wanting on future purchases of Hasbro products?
1 ★ Needs to be updated for newer devices, would not work on my pixel 3, had to dust off my old s7 to get this to work right.
1 ★ No updates since 2016. Come on, Hasbro - it doesn't cost that much to have someone update an app. If you don't want to spend the money, release it to the public domainand give someone else a chance to upgrade it for newer versions of Android.
1 ★ App no longer functions, rendering the rather expensive toy either a continuous source of noise or a large figurine. It makes a nice decoration, but is otherwise useless now, because of this app.
1 ★ HORRIBLE OUTDATED APP. WILL NOT WORK. I purchased the R2D2 and by itself with the three modes it is awesome and will interact somewhat but it WILL NOT LINK UP TO THE BLUETOOTH ON YOUR SMARTPHONE SINCE THERE HASN'T BEEN AN UPDATE SINCE 2016. IM GLAD I ONLY SPENT 20 DOLLARS FOR IT. ILL JUST HAVE TO KEEP CALLING HASBRO UNTIL THEY UPDATE IT. BET YOUR MUSTACHE.
2 ★ Doesn't connect with Samsung galaxy note 9 works great with one plus 5 and 6 Hasbro cmon update this app!!!! It is outdated
1 ★ Doesn't work! Will not connect to r2d2, so an expensive remote control device is actually only a figurine... total waste of money!
3 ★ Price dropped 75% so got one.. toy's build in mode functions well but number of commands not fully functioning through mobile phone when it designed to run at a time. But still interesting toy can't deny. :) How nice if manufacturer update SW as final but seems like the company is gone away. (Web site returns error) If you are looking for fully functioning toy then avoid this..
1 ★ App does not work on devices that are updated to the latest version of Android. So given that this toy was expressly purchased for a 6 year old boy to use the remote control function means that it is essentially broken? Enjoy a tantrum? No I do not. I'll need to return the unit to where I bought it if this isn't corrected soon and get something else that does work. Support your products!
1 ★ The toy comes with no real instructions, and the app does not work unless you have a phone from 5 years ago and NEVER updated it.
3 ★ Great app only issue is that I switched phones to Galaxy note 10+ now it won't connect to R2. Hope they will send an update soon
