3 ★ the app itself needs work and a upgrade. it's buggy at times and works during others. i had high hopes for this app. the speaker itself is awesome and for the price i got it for well worth it. being around music constantly i would like more control over sounds, volume, mids, highs and lows. hell even a bit of custom things as color chooser, visualizers etc. I love the speaker i just know you guys can knock this out of the park.
2 ★ Sound gets spotty, volume spikes, then it'll get lower; makes listening to music just unbearable quickly. I swear it used to work better, but not in a long time. It seems to be linked to the Dirac option. Not that the EQ makes music sound different at all, either. Meh EDIT: I was wrong, it's the EQ function for whatever reason. Not sure what Dirac does besides make it louder, though
1 ★ Sir/Mam Can you please tell that why you made this app only for the Moto Why don't for others I buyed the JBL earphones and I want soundboost but you just made this app for moto ... Please answer me And it's my humble request to you to do this app for all devices ....
4 ★ There's alot of enhancements that need to be made for all aspects of the speaker. It does work great. I would recommend the speaker to everyone.
1 ★ did anybody read, is that was made only for the soundboost 2. any other speaker it will not operate it. if your JBL has a USB mini plug to charge the battery then you do not have a sound boost 2 or if it cost you seventy or more dollars. if I find an app will work with the JBL sound boost with battery pack I will post it where to find it and the exact name.
1 ★ Clicking and popping makes mod unusable since last update, but only when JBL app is activated. Sad. I loved JBL :(
1 ★ Horrible. I thought the speaker was bad bc it would skip but then my boyfriend tried on his Moto an since it was a different one, it didn't ask him to download the app and his ran fine without it so I used the speaker without the app and realized it was the app making the songs skip the whole time. Yes the app made the music louder but what good is that if it is going to skip the entire time. Will be uninstalling since you don't need the app to use the speaker.
2 ★ It does make a difference, but often enough, there seems to be some type of sound glitch or interruption like a bad connection. This is why I Uninstalled it before. I forgot about it and installed it again. After it happened, I remembered why I uninstalled it in the first place.
3 ★ I like the concept of the app but it literally makes ofter apps freeze like crazy half the time and to fix it I kill the jbl app and everything works fine, when I change songs or a new YouTube video comes on the app makes the sound go super loud and distorted for about 1-2 secs.. But when the app is not giving me trouble it's amazing
2 ★ The app works easily but I would like them to fix the poping sound that the mod does it is extremely loud even if the phone volume is low.
1 ★ Still runs in background even when Moto mod is disconnected.... Stays in notifications. Cant clear without force closing. Sucks
2 ★ worked great a few times, now either the speaker or the app isn't working. when connected i only hear static. Played with settings. restarting the phone. reloading the app. nothing i found fixed the issue. way to expensive to stop working this quickly.
3 ★ 5 stars if the app will auto-launch when speaker is connected, auto-close when disconnected, and remember the previously applied settings. Dirac does improve the sound, but having to open the app to apply settings every time the mod is connected is tedious.
4 ★ Simple control's. Works consistently. Sound modes are discernable. No complaints. Would like to see an update allowing more sound modes while playing movies/videos. I'm not experiencing any popping or static. I'm running the soundboost 2 on my Moto Z4.
4 ★ excellent sound and battery, however please!! allow JBL link!! this is a JBL speaker.. yet i cant BT or connect to multiple JBL speakers at once, i can if only run BT and not the sound boost.. i thought all your speakers could link together!!!
