Now available at Android Market, you can get the AutoBoy BlackBox for free. From now on, AutoBoy will be your personal guardian for free,
with all the functionaliy that you can get from other paid applications.

3 ★ Was working great on my old P30 Pro but on the new galaxy s20 ultra it won't record once the screen has been turned off. When driving long distance I turn the screen off and lick the phone but that causes the videos to freeze so far in. The sound still works that's if the app don't force stop because it crashes when you stop recording.
2 ★ need to have features to adapt the built-in anti-shake of the stock camera as well as the wide angle lens. anti-shake and wide angle are must-haves for dashcams. live map tracking in the would be great as well
4 ★ Great App only some issues with Android Auto because if you set the app to record in landscape it competes with AA. Since AA works portrait, you know who wins, and the App crashes sometimes, the same occures with flying window. Portrait mode works ok.
2 ★ App will not connect to my youtube account. The app also will not actually record speed and location and display it on the vidio. Other than that it is easy to use and provides quality vidios
5 ★ Pretty good apparently. I hope in the future they will add something like start recording when is charging just wireless because i have a wireless charging mount on my car and also a zoom in and slow motion video replay when you want to see something in detail.
4 ★ This app is great so long as you have the phone plugged into power there should not be an issue. The only thing I would add would be the ability to record with the face camera also to catch the rear window of the vehicle.
5 ★ (May 2020) UPDATE: now works fine. Changed to 5* (May 2019) Liked the app alot, with user friendly interface, the video+photo capturing at the same time. However there is a bug that I got to step away. GPS is recorded in the first video file only. All the following files have no locations recorded. Tried in two different phones (Android 5.0 and Android 8.1) - same error. Another less favourable dash cam app has no such issue. Will update my rating to 5* when the bug is fixed.
4 ★ A great app for those of us that have an aftermarket headunit (ex. Eonon) with front and rear cameras. It starts recording automatically to my SD card when I turn on the car ignition. It is not possible to flip the screen preview however, so things that are on the left show up on the right side. It records correctly though. Any chance you can fix this in an update, devs? If you do, this is absolutely a 5 star app. Either way, this app is highly recommended. Buy the pro version support them!
5 ★ Very user friendly. Customizable video quality options. GPS location tracking and speed monitor allows for documentation against speeding tickets as well as audio recording for police interaction.
5 ★ Excellent app, good choice of video quality, records date,time,gps and road name. As a taxi driver I can honestly recommend this, I have one for the road and on6for in car recording.
1 ★ I have installed this application but asked if i want the full version to be able to use the application. I paid for the full pro version of this dashcam but still it is not working as they have promised. The video does not save and could not play back. The camera was on and you will think its recording but not. If you are reading this and thinking that you need to install please do not waste your time and money because they will only take it but those developers will not give what you paid for.
4 ★ It is really useful app. The available customizations made my decision to use it. The automation withe the Bluetooth is handy as it automatically starts recording when it connects to the car and lunch Spotify and Spotify have integration with Waze :). The only thing that I miss is to be able to choose between the base camera or the wide angle camera, as much of the new smartphones offer wide angle camera it makes sense to use it so you can have better view on the records.
2 ★ Samsung S10 user 1. App does not use the panoramic camera 2. App randomly focuses close to the car even when forced to focus to infinity.. 3. auto exposure setting not ideal 4. image stabilisation very low quality compared to the samsung camera rec. software in the phone. (1080p x60fps stabilisation in default samsung software one of the best available in the market) 5. no H265 supported in app, loosing significant image quality compared to the stock phone camera software! Overall mediocre app, with many possibilities to become better.
3 ★ I have the app set to not save any video unless it is an accident but the app is still saving them to my device AND it is not over writing older videos when it's set not to save. I just deleted over 20gb of videos that should not even exist!
5 ★ Very good app. It justify all needs of a dashcam. But phone must be capable enough to handle video processing and recording for long driving time periods otherwise phone temperature will be so high.
