5 ★ Company is great but they could pay better. As a house cleaner starting income should be $25 if paid by hour or cleaners should be making $100 for a small apt cleaning here they only give you half of that but they really do charge the customer $125. So you are giving them half for finding you the leads . On top of that they will charge you fees for just about anything. And when you need to speak to a person you will never find a human to talk to. I wonder why they hide their identity so much?

5 ★ I have been using this app for about a month now, and it has supplemented my income better than I ever thought it would. You make your own schedule and you are promptly paid at the end of the job. Most clients tip generously, and it is a great way to earn extra money. Highly recommended

1 ★ This app is only good if you're desperate for cash, even then you're just digging yourself a hole. They take too much, don't treat the person doing the work fairly, don't give accurate info about the scope of work and have a lot of hidden fees. You'd be better off standing in front of home depot.

4 ★ Great app. Superb customer service I really like the personal service. I haven't had the opportunity to use it much although I have taken a few jobs here and there I look forward to using it more

1 ★ 3 months and account is still in review, there's no excuse for that no matter how many applications you get, save yourself the trouble and just offer services on your local Facebook marketplace.

3 ★ Extra cash whenever I need and/or want it. **Revised was 5 stars** - it told me that I needed to update my availability after deleting my ENTIRE week of jobs I went on, made myself available for everyday. I didn't realize that this meant ANY person with ANY job and ANY pay could just put me on their task whether I wanted to do it or not. In the end I'm charged $240 and my rate is 4 stars at 70% and I can't get ahold of anyone to explain it. All the messages I get back seem automated. Frustrating

3 ★ Full honest review here. I think its great. App saved me from debt and helped me pay my rent. If you're in a tight spot, this is a great way to make money. However, screenshot every single message from clients and take pictures of all of your work, always. Handy does give too much power to the clients. I had one recently where we rescheduled from Tuesday to Friday morning, verbally and didn't change it in the app. Thursday morning, the guy said to handy that I never showed up charged me $200

1 ★ Very friendly customers however. If there are any issues with the bookings and you or the customer need to get ahold of someone it is very hard (impossible from personal experience). Most bookings are not as described which can put u in an odd situation sometimes. I just did a booking and did the work that should have been for two people because one of the other providers didn't show up. Luckily the home owners helped me out. But they had back issues and could have been injured.

1 ★ Android user here, I haven't experienced any problems. The only issue I have is that as a cleaner, some homes are actually WAY smaller then when you arrive. So you don't get paid fairly. There is no option to change or take pictures to show proof. Overall, user friendly app. I get paid on time, no issues.UPDATE: They charge you so much in fees even if it isn't your fault. They won't bother to investigate the issue either. Also, the people who are for handy customer service will ALWAYS blame you

3 ★ The app is generally nice but, you cannot see the job details until you claim the job. One single job could give you a poor rating and it would impact your rating a great deal. A misunderstanding of the customer wanting things done that were not requested. The same customer preferring I NOT wear a mask and to start working in her downstairs because she was working there. The request ed work was upstairs. The low rating prevented me from other jobs and cancelations. There's no pro support.

3 ★ Handy is a great shot in the arm when you need to hustle up some work and get paid quickly. The "Cash Out Now" feature allows you to get your pay within a day or two, rather than waiting a week or two. Really came in handy during the holidays. But Handy needs to pay a lot more per job, especially when their techs are driving 30-100 miles each way to a job.

2 ★ I tried it for a week and dont think I will be doing it again. You can't select locations so you sort thru jobs that are 3 plus hours away. They estimate most jobs- especially wayfair assembly- as taking shorter than they do (I am highly experienced and work quickly). The pay is unfit for the amount of work and travel. They bombard me with notifications. Great customers though and a pretty well designed app, however.

2 ★ They take a lot of money from customers and keep it from the skilled people doing the actual work. They penalize you when the companies they work with mess up their bookings. The job descriptions are almost never correct, accurate, or complete. Their "time estimates" are WILDLY inaccurate, usually by hours in either direction. If you are good with customers and can establish quick rapport, it's useful for building a work base outside of the app and that's the only reason it gets 2 stars vs. 1.

2 ★ Update: the only way to get to the schedule tab is to go to FAQS and click the link. THEN you can delete and edit jobs Doesn't tell you specifically what you are doing before you accept a job OR AFTER. for example it says Handyman Services $25. After you commit it doesn't tell you any info on where or who it's for or what you'll be doing. How do I know I'm a good fit? Also I can't delete any jobs like you said you can. This app is SO BASIC

2 ★ Was going great as a side gig, I was earning about $150 doing 3-4 furniture assembly jobs a week. Tips were great too, sometimes clients would tip more than Handy was paying! The app worked okay, it was nice having a list of jobs to pick from rather than hoping someone picks you. It's very costly to cancel plus hurts your rating so be sure you can do job before booking it...But then one day my account was locked and I couldn't contact Handy at all. I had a 4.8 rating idk what happened.
