Description
Whether you are traveling to a new city, a family out on a neighborhood walk, or a group of friends who know how to appreciate a good scavenger hunt, geocaching is easy enough for anyone to get started. Browse our map to discover hidden cache locations nearby — no matter what city or country you are in. Start by navigating using GPS-enabled directions to within 30 feet of the cache — then your real search begins. Geocaches are hidden out of sight, often disguised, to only be found by the people who are trying to find them.
Geocaches come in all shapes, sizes, and types — and some may be more cleverly deceptive than you can even imagine. Cache owners will always include a log book for you to sign to record your successful find. Larger containers might also include some treasures to be traded or moved to other cache locations — like with trackable tags, personal keepsakes, and the occasional geocoin hoping to be passed on to the next adventurer. Once you are done with the container, simply place it back exactly as you found it for the next explorer to discover.
With a constantly growing community of geocachers there is no limit to how you can get in on the fun. You can play as a family in your neighborhood and parks, add some cache seeking to your jogging or fitness routine, or challenge yourself with some all-terrain caches on a hike near your favorite trails. Use the map to find local events held by the community around the world to learn the best tips and tricks for finding caches and the impact this global game has had on their lives. If you’re lucky enough, they may even share some of the TOTT (tools of the trade!) with you to make sure no treasure gets left behind on your search.

2 ★ Half of the caches are greyed out unless I upgrade the app so I still have to print the cach page from my computer. It's WAY easier to simply enter the coords in Google and log the find when I get back home. This app is useless unless you want to pay to go geocaching (which defeats the point of geocaching). I get paying for merch, trackables, etc., Or even special events, but not paying just to go out and find the caches. Very disappointing!
4 ★ Good geocaching app. I use it mostly as a backup for my GPS in case i did not load certain caches, such as brand new ones. There should be a possibility that CO s can view their unpublished caches in the app. You never know how it is going to turn out on your phone.
5 ★ love this app. wish i wouldve found it back when i first heard of the geoacheing i wouldve found a lot more and kept doing it.. but now im showing my niece what it is and she found her first find the other day down from my house. she glowed with a smile when she found it. :) love the joy it brings to adults and children alike.
4 ★ Functions well, although a lot of features are behind a paywall, which means you are restricted out of certain content. The game and concept is really fun and makes you want to look everywhere. Localization is pretty solid too so you have a good idea of the vicinity in which to look at. Solid app
5 ★ Its so great getting the kids outside of the house !! Even more awesome watching kids get excited to be part of a secret community and seeing how stealthy they can be without drawing attention. I cant give this app enough stars !!!
5 ★ A brilliant way to spend a weekend. Always check when last a cache was found so you don't spend 30min looking for something that might not be there anymore. You need a lot of patience for some caches so make sure you choose the right friends to take along on a hunt.
5 ★ Really good way to see new places, and get outdoors, varying levels of difficulty and people's cache reviews mean you can plan before you visit, based on how much of a challenge you're seeking. Lots of fun.
5 ★ This is an excellent app. Well designed, easy to navigate, provides instant results when I indicate a found cache, and allows me to send messages about the condition of the geocache. I highly recommend this app.
4 ★ Doesn't download gpx files easily like cgeo. GPS tracking depends on phone. Hints given by certitude should go into hint, not personal note. Needs maintenance feature not available on phone. Filter for adventure labs not available on phone. Phone app is disappointing even though it is being pushed
1 ★ Only 1 star because the location does not work well. The compass won't point in the right direction and the distance/centre on me is off. My Son and I were stood next to the only tree near to where the cache was supposed to be, yet the location showed we were I somones garden about 20 meters away! Not happy as I bought the premium for my Son and I to enjoy quality time together. He went home sad today because we couldn't find the cache due to bad location services. Nothing wrong with my S20
2 ★ Just downloaded this app. The map page is one third covered with the "upgrade to premium" message at all times. I could understand it as a popup with an X, but taking one third of the screen is ridiculous.
5 ★ Best app ever! I still use my Garmin GPS as a back up. The GPS is not always spot on. But, I started geocaching before we had cell phones and apps. We had to plan our trips in advance!! This is great because of the map feature and the ability to find nearby caches with the push of a button.
3 ★ Such a slow app! I love the game but wow this app is wildly laggy and glitchy. Aside from being INCREDIBLY slow it also doesn't have half the features the full website has which is also frustrating!
5 ★ Love using the app! The only suggestion I would like to have added is the option to edit logs on the phone. I can edit on the computer, but not the phone. Thank you!
1 ★ As yet cannot use app. Tried to sign up, message said something was wrong and to try again later. Now it says my email address is already in use and won't let me sign up or sign in.
