Description

StatusbarVolume shows the volume control panel as an unobtrusive overlay over the system statusbar, instead of blocking your view of whatever you are currently doing on your device.

This is an Xposed-module! You will need a rooted device with Xposed installed: http://bit.ly/1hCaq32

After activating the module in the Xposed app, please reboot your phone. Afterwards, you'll be able to press the volume up/down keys on your device to display the statusbar volume-slider.

In order to slide down the expanded volume panel, please start the swipe-gesture slightly *below* the volume bar (where the ActionBar normally sits). Alternatively, you can also single-tap this area, and the volume-panel should slide out automatically.

The module is free without ads. After 14 days, you'll need to pay $0.99 if you want to continue using it.

5 ★ Just wish there was some sort of animation when changing volumes. A slide would be nice, just something other than the way it "chunks" up to the next volume level. Although this is how stock android works as well, so I can't complain too much.

5 ★ I'm on 4.4.2, I've used this before on my last device with no problems. But for some reason it doesn't seem to work. I have it enabled, Xposed installer installed, everything's good but it just doesn't seem to enable. Any ideas for a resolution!?

1 ★ Has no effect on my nexus 5 with cm12.1. But if it did work, why didn't you set the screen timeout in milliseconds? You have hours and minutes (completely useless given the purpose of the feature), but no way to have fractions of a second?

4 ★ This great little module gets the obtrusive volume bar out of the way--just like it says it will do. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would--4 stars because it stinks you can't tap on the volume bar itself--you have to tap below it--to get it to come down. If this is an Android limitation, I would revise to 5 stars.

5 ★ Omg im soo glad i seen this on Xda youtube, i hate when im controlling the volume while watching something and it gets in the way! With this app it moves it to the top of the phone and u can even customize the color!!!! Goes great with my theme on my phone! Thank you, i support the dev 100%! Also, for the people who are having problems, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS

1 ★ Works great on my Nexus 7 and Moto X, however doesn't work at all on Droid Turbo. Downloaded, enabled, configured, rebooted...and still nothing

4 ★ I loved the idea so much that I bought it. However, could you make the bar on the top adjustable by touch? That is the only thing that I miss from the old volume bar.

5 ★ Works as described. All the low ratings from people who don't know what they're doing: seriously, take the 2 minutes to actually learn what the app does/needs. Don't rate it poorly because you can't be bothered to look into what you download.

5 ★ My phone crash whenever I hold down the volume to adjust Chromecast sound, via google music. Stock ROM, xposed & gravity box.

5 ★ Read the description people...it's not hard. You must have a rooted phone and xposed framework installed. Great mod!

5 ★ Nice one guy, this reduces the persistent fader problem some have with nexus 7. Wish I could block it, mute doesn't solve it

1 ★ No longer works and project seems abandoned.

3 ★ This correctly displays and modifies volume for alarms, ringtone /notifications and media, but does not alter or display volume for in-call.

4 ★ I would like to see a feature added, where you press the volume button and it brings up the display, then you press again to change the volume. I contacted the developers a while ago and they said they would incorporate it into the next update... I wonder when that will be?

5 ★ Cannot stand the default slider covering my screen, gets rid of it and looks incredible in the process
