App permissions
Gotcha 2.0.2 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to access extra location provider commands.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows access to the vibrator.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows an application to request installing packages.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Bush Senior I'm tired discrimination but they took the chance to hear me out and they gave me a job today is Sunday July 21st.

1 ★ Tried renting a scooter. It wouldn't read the QR code and wouldn't take the manually entered code.

1 ★ I've got serious privacy concerns with this app. They want you to upload an image of your drivers license, I assume also a credit card (didn't get that far before uninstalling it). The app also tracks your location. Do you really want to have your name, address, DL number, DOB, photograph, and credit card number all stored in the same database - and for an app that tracks your movements? What if it gets hacked? Also I don't see anything in the TOS preventing Gotcha from selling this info to anybody they want. Maybe they anonimize it. Maybe they don't. I see no reason for the app to be this intrusive. No other app or website has ever asked for an image of my DL. There's no reason for continuous location tracking. All they really need to know is what rack it left, what rack it came back to, and how long. And if it's missing, then they can ping the location.
5 ★ worked for 20 minutes, then ran into a problem. although it was an inconvenience. They did solve my problem quickly without being charged for being outside the bounderie. just pay attention to the map and take your time with the app, and everything will work out.
1 ★ Repeated "service error" codes after multiple attempts to activate via phone. Uninstall. Reinstall. Still no go. Not quite ready for primetime here is Syracuse. Multiple issues.
1 ★ The Android app is terrible. "Upload license" with a photo!?! This feature does not work. Useless. I'll ride my own bike. Fix the app!
2 ★ How come riding bike requires license? Couldn't use it as i don't have driving license. Happy that they introduced bike sharing service at Syracuse.
1 ★ phone cant even read the codes on the scooters to rent them.. gotcha camera garbage.. 👎👎.. stand over scooter 3-5 minutes.. couldnt even rent the scooter, so i went to lime..
