App permissions

Live Case 4.2.8 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to perform I/O operations over NFC.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows applications to set the wallpaper.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

4 ★ Nice companion app for Google Live Case. I use it on my Pixel 2. It changes wallpaper everyday. The one con is that there's no information shown in first go of the place that is shown as wallpaper on Google Earth app; it only appears the second time.

1 ★ Doesn't work. I bought a live case, had to have phone repaired and now it won't connect to my account

1 ★ Well I don't like that I'm forced to have the picture as my wallpaper. Lock screen, fine. But not my wallpaper. It's too busy and is going to make me nauseous. Not sure I can deal. I've yet to see it change either. I'll give it a day..... Gave it a day and the thing doesn't work. Case is exactly the same as when I took it out of the box. It's going back into it. $50 is a lot to spend on something that doesn't do what it says it will.

1 ★ Doesn't work, I tried logging into app and nothing happens.

1 ★ The app won't even get me past the screen to sign in and that's just insane the fact that it won't boot past that and being an official google app

1 ★ Had the case from a few months ago through promotion. Just got new phone to use with the case but it's asking for a numerical code that I can't find inside the case anywhere. Now just using it as a useless case. ): Poor design. Why would you need another code when it's already NFC pairing.... Makes no sense.

5 ★ The live case app may no longer be officially supported, from the Pixel 3 & onwards. The latest cases are now being referred to as My Cases & many of the wallpapers that are associated with the cases, may now be found within the official wallpapers app on Pixels.

2 ★ App is now broken, does not pass login screen.

3 ★ Live Case stopped working a week ago. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall it, but now it won't accept my account name to continue. I'm stuck somewhere in the desert in Namorobia or some gawd-awful place...

1 ★ Cant get pass through the log in page in my google pixel 2XL unit.

1 ★ Use to love "live case" but bought a new case for a new phone and it came without a code. Useless now when you have a case and can't access the wallpaper.

1 ★ come on guys we should have the option of keeping the original wallpaper and if not that should have been transparently conveyed before purchasing

2 ★ Any pictures you use as a wallpaper through this app will appear incredibly dim. Ruins the whole experience, if it weren't for that it would be a nice app.

5 ★ This app hasn't got much too it but it sets the wallpaper and tells you info why are people 1 star this app. The update has fixed everything

2 ★ So this changes your wallpaper daily....cool, I guess. Not worth $50. I bought it on clearance for $25. Still not really worth it.
